This was a great site! We definitely enjoyed ourselves in this cool, decorated campsite. Honestly, would have loved to bring the kiddo here. It was perfect for our quick, in the trees getaway, close enough to the cities. Our host was accommodating and gave us the privacy we were looking for!
Our one note is the noisiness… there is a lot of farmland hustle and bustle noise nearby; such as neighbors, chickens/roosters, and dogs, during all hours. We heard elk one morning though, that was cool. Nearby there is some sort of event center that has loudspeakers that echo throughout the area all day and evening on the weekends (looks like a airsoft paintball center? But unsure) This is all fine, if you don’t mind the noise.
Our favorite part about this retreat was the proximity to nearby cities (South Hill, Puyallup, even Tacoma) AND outdoor recreation. It’s a quick and easy drive to the malls and restaurants in one direction, and then Mt. Rainier or Gifford Pinchot in the other. So if you like mixing your activities up while on vacay, this truly is the perfect spot.

Amazing campsite! It's on a hard pack road with basically no traffic, and on the property itself it's nicely secluded from the other structures; I couldn't even tell you what else was there. Despite this, it was just ten minutes to the supermarket in town.
When we arrived, Andy welcomed us right away and even had a fire going for us! He was super responsive the whole time.
In addition to the large picnic table and firepit, the campsite had a fire extinguisher and more wood to burn. Another unexpected luxury: a garbage can, which I didn't know I wanted at every campsite until now.
There were multiple good spots to pitch a tent, and we didn't have any artificial lights shining on us, etc. Really couldn't have asked for more; I wish we spent more time here!

Easy access but secluded!

Very convenient location for those living in the Seattle/Tacoma area. You are short driving distance but still feels off the beaten path. The campsite was nicely set up and I enjoyed my stay.

We had a wonderful time at Andy’s! He was attentive and took care of issues with the portapotty right away. He let us borrow a couple chairs since we forgot 2 of ours. The site itself was very private and beautiful! It had fun little characters that we kept finding throughout our stay. I would love to go back sometime and would recommend this spot for anyone that wants a nice quiet getaway :)

20 ft campervan
My family and I were beyond impressed with this magical hip camp. Can’t recommend enough! Nestled away from the road on Andy’s land, he made the area private, comfortable and unique. Surrounded by tall trees and ferns, the area is carved out beautifully and features a picnic table, fire pit and a flat space for a tent, or for us, our sprinter van.
Fun faces and little elves decorated the trees - our kids thought it was the absolute coolest!
Huge thank you to Andy for letting us book same-day, providing firewood and making this such a great night away - great host and we had the best time!
Can’t wait to return and see the other sites he was working on fully developed.

Absolutely perfect stay!
20 ft campervan
We had such a fantastic time at Andy’s spot! The campsite is private and super easily accessible from the road. Since the road is a dead end, there was zero traffic noise—just complete peace and quiet.
Andy was an incredible host and made himself available for anything we needed, even leaving out firewood for us. Waking up to deer right by the camp in the morning was such a cool touch!
It was just right for what we needed, and we’ve already bookmarked it for a future visit. Highly recommend staying here!
