Now on Hipcamp! Escape to a peaceful waterfront retreat on a gently sloping, south-facing private lot that leads right to the water's edge. This serene setting is perfect for relaxing, exploring, and soaking up nature. Enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, and birdwatching in a quiet, scenic environment. It's the perfect getaway—just a short ferry ride from Seattle, yet it feels a world away. A quick five-minute walk brings you to Bailey's Corner neighborhood store, where you can grab a bite to eat, enjoy a drink, and often catch live music. We are planning renovations to the cabin which is currently uninhabitable. In the meantime, we wanted to offer this beautiful land for you to enjoy. Let us lnow what we can do to make your stay more enjoyable - we will be adding camping amenities as time allows!You will have access to the front yard, back yard and the storage shed. The cabin and the garage are off-limits. Electrical outlets are available in the shed. There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

100ft trees to park under

A spot in front of a old house. Your parking spot is under 100ft trees. You will need leveling blocks. You walk around the house to a sloping back yard that goes down to a wood strewn beach. Pretty site from down below. Good wifi. Some att cell coverage. Nice owner. Quiet at night. Good access to Mukitio ferry

Potential but limited Accessibility

20 ft pop-up camper

The site has potential…in process of clearing, cleanup…The camp sites were not accessible due to low tree branches and clearances between trees for my F250 w/Camper. Car camping and tents could access but nothing else. We ended up just parking in front of house. For me, it was all about location…This location is close to fishing at Possession Point…

22 ft truck camper · With kids

We camped in our truck campers. It was a little tricky to find a level spot, but we were able to make it work by parking nose-in right in front of the house. The property is very beautiful, and secluded. We spent time down at the bay shore, and took one of the paddle boards out. We also made friends with one of the neighbor’s cats (which we named Whiskers). The live music and vibe at Bailey’s corner store down the street was also great. One piece of advice: the cell service is spotty near the house, so download maps, address and directions ahead of time.

Misleading

25 ft truck camper · With pets

I wouldn't have a problem with this place if it was $20 a night, but for $75 (with taxes and fees) it felt overpriced. No flat spaces other than a small portion in the driveway. The grass was overgrown and the backyard was fully on a slant so it's not great for tents either. The shed is scary. Broken glass in front of the house and in the shed. Just felt creepy, and there was a dog barking a bunch. The waterfront is a stagnant bay I wouldnt want to swim in. Again, for $20 all good but there are many hipcamps for $75 with a lot more amenities and a better overall camping spot to sleep.
