I enjoyed this site very much. It has privacy and well kept. I have camped in this site once before and many times on Zack’s property in other sites. I highly recommend it. I like that the gates lock and there is no through traffic. The lake is a stunning view as well.

Such a pretty site! This site is not only spacious but has a great view!
There are mountain biking trails and jumps literally right next to your campsite which is so cool!

I just love this place! Every site! As if this weekend I have stayed in all 4 sites and one of them several times.
The views are amazing, the privacy between sites is excellent. Every site has a stunning view.

Mid-Mountain Lookout
This spot is amazing! The view was fantastic with the lake and valley below holding our attention all day and evening. It rained almost the entire time, but sitting out under our canopy watching the rain come down was a wonderful way to pass the time. And all this, while only being five minutes from one of the best dive bars in Washington. Evelyn's has great food, interesting people and great service. Thanks Zack for the great spot, we will be back.

The Grove
Beautiful & private location. There was one other camper onsite but I didn’t even realize they were there until I was on my way out. I had a very relaxing (& rainy) day at The Grove & hope to come back next summer.

This space was awesome! Wish I had more time in it. Arrived after sunset and left early. The deck for tents was very cool and views of the lake great.
I will say getting up the driveway was a little sketchy but doable in my sienna mini van. Getting a start up on the incline after locking the gate was a little difficult. Would still absolutely come back though.
Very easy to find the entrance.

Had a great time here so beautiful and peaceful my group also were the only ones that rented a spot over the weekend so we had the whole place to ourselves which was really cool . Definitely will recommend to others ! 10/10

The lookout is a dream come true. Cannot recommend this place enough for people that are camping, wanting to get out of Bellingham for the weekend or just want a place to host an epic get together.

Mid-Mountain Lookout
Beautiful view. Each HipCamp site is completely isolated from the other HipCamp sites -- didn't see any of the neighbor sites from our site.
Zack was great by text and in person. Pretty amazing what has been done on that property. Used the nice on-site MTB trails for us campers --trails through the trees (not the Pro line!!)

We really enjoyed our night at the lookout. Comfortable spot for tenting with a great view! Far enough away from other campers, you don’t even see or hear them. Mountain bike trails on site were being rebuilt. Can’t wait to come back!

This is an outstanding place to camp! You park your car and step onto the handmade wooden deck with a breathtaking view to the Clear Lake. We just loved this campsite.

The Grove
The grove was awesome! Lots of shade in the morning. Beautiful views. All these sites would be great for all season camping. There wasn’t any shade from the sun going to the portable toilet though, and it’s a pretty decent sized hill walk. Will go to again in the fall!

If you’re in search of a scenic camp site on your way to the North Cascades, this place nails it. The views are breathtaking—rolling hills, a serene lake, and a peaceful forest backdrop.
The drive in is steep but makes you feel accomplished once you make it up that final hill. Just take it slow and steady. The site itself is simple and rustic, which is exactly what I was looking for. No frills, just nature and tranquility.
Overall, this was an amazing escape into nature. Perfect for anyone who wants to disconnect, soak in gorgeous views, and maybe do a little mindful painting (or just daydream about it). Would definitely come back!

The places was quiet private with a beautiful view. We loved it! Zach was very quick in responding to our queries. Only downside I thought was the portable toilet was little up the hill. But otherwise it is a beautiful camping spot.

camping here was so peaceful! my dog can be reactive so having privacy was so relaxing for dog & dog parents. the deck was too small for our tent (6 person instant) so we pitched it on the travel and used the deck for leisure area. 10/10 recommend! oh also having a canopy is recommended for extra shade :)

The view over the valley, lake and city lights at night were fabulous from The Grove! Design efforts were nice with rock ledges & fire pit.
The view was hard earned with about an 11% uphill grade coming into the property. I had asked for the grade. AWD barely adequate, 4WD mandatory. If towing, I recommend opening the gates first then come back up the road to make a running start, cautiously watching for oncoming traffic. Steep enough that my trailer was sliding back sideways going up (scary) and my car sliding down when leaving, even in low gear. Describing the entry as steep is an understatement. A paved entry, would make a much easier ascent. Communication good with host until day of arrival, then nothing, even with several messages sent about some concerns. That was disappointing. Three other guests at sites on the road, with much space and privacy between us. More sites in progress, it appeared. Pretty certain I wouldn’t stay here again unless entry road was paved, which is too bad because the location is great.

Beautiful view; and easy to get to .... simple set up with fire pit and large stones to sit on, and porta potty a short walk away. The downsides were that the ideal tent sopt had drainage gravel instead of "DG" (decomposed granite (which is much better to set your tent up on); and we had a noisy neighbor the second night.

Highlights of this site are that it’s super private and a great view. We enjoyed Clear Lake beach as well and we love how close we were to towns we enjoy spending time in. We thought the road to the site was really level and easy to navigate, no problems driving in our small suv. definitely byo shade as it’s a pretty clear cut site and it’s a bit of a walk to the toilet.
