Designed to blend the rugged independence of dry camping with the structure of an organized campsite, Ponderosa Ridge gives you front-row seats to the dramatic landscapes of the Teanaway. Here, your morning view opens directly onto stands of sun-drenched timber, and your evenings are spent watching the sun drop behind the distant ridges of the Cascade Range. This site is fully optimized for self-contained camper vans, and overland trailers. It provides a dedicated, flat parking pad alongside a curated outdoor living zone featuring a picnic table and a secure, rock-lined fire ring. If you are looking to skip the crowded, noisy RV parks or busy camp grounds and experience true, secluded mountain boondocking without sacrificing vehicle access, this high-country sanctuary is exactly what you have been searching for. Access, follow Google maps. Go past driveway indicated by one driveway, then on right. Review pics sequentially. Go to cable gate and remove C pin. Place cable on ground. Proceed to gate and open. Park on left, and walk down path to site. Watch for bears, put food in secure remote locations away from camp.

Didnt get a chance to enjoy the amenities as I arrived late, but it felt safe knowing the host was near by (this was essentially down the hill from their house)
