New site! Be the first to enjoy peaceful pasture parking in the foothills of the Olympic national forest. Guests will have access to a fire pit, parking for up to two vehicles, and a porta potty. Property owner lives on site in a tiny house. Tent camping and small recreational vehicles There's plenty to do around! Summer festivals nearby and close to nature - it's less than 20 minutes to the Olympic National Rain Forest, Skydiving, and multiple State Parks. During the summer there's a drive-in movie theater within driving distance. Visit scenic areas like the High Steel Bridge above the Skokomish river and cozy downtown Shelton. This Hipcamp is 20 minutes away from Little Creek Casino. There is a ton to do! There is a power hookup as well, and green grass to pitch a tent on. Ruby's Prairie Creekside Tent Site

The property was perfect for our short 1 night stay. It was super hot, and Lake Nahwatzel is only 5 miles away, so that was a great refuge from the heat. Luke was very nice. He mentioned possibly changing check out time, which was nice because we didn’t get out until 11, but he did not mind. There was no port-a-potty, but I guess that was only because it was broken the weekend before and they were waiting on the new one. Overall, great spot.

Ruby's Prairie Creekside Tent Site

Very quiet, nice next to a little creek. Perfect for a last minute camping trip before school starts. Had a little incident where my key fob died on the day of check out but our host was very sweet which helped to an already hectic morning. Cows and a lot of bird sightings.

Super cool spot! I was out on a road trip with my daughter and struggled to find a spot the last night. Luckly I found Luke's. Super level open field with fire ring. Highly recommend!

Ruby's Prairie Creekside Tent Site

This was a great stay. The host, Luke, was really nice and was eager to see that I was comfortable. He has two very lovable dogs that warmly welcomed me. This is a new Hipcamp listing and I was proud to learn that I was the first to make this camp home for a night. This camp is located beside a creek and includes a fire ring, log bench, outdoor chairs, fire wood, on grass under a beautiful evergreen tree. I stayed the third week of June and had no issue with insects. Luke is in the process of expanding this camp and it is a work in progress. This camp is drive-in when dry, walk-in when wet, so keep that in mind. I thoroughly enjoyed this camp and I admire what Luke is trying to do here. I'll stay here again, given the opportunity. Thank you, Luke, for a great stay and hope to see you again soon!
