Inner Compass Retreats LLC is a mindfully curated, exceptionally clean glamping site for individuals or couples seeking a quiet, contemplative retreat in the woods. Enjoy privacy while still having the support of a host nearby. Whether you spend the day hiking or beachcombing, you'll return to a beautifully appointed campsite where you can relax, cook a meal, or dine in town just 15 minutes away. Peaceful, clean, and supported—this is what awaits you at ICR. Situated in the heart of Olympic National Park exploration, just 20 minutes from the Hoh Rain Forest and 10–15 minutes from Olympic National Park's beaches, this curated 100-square-foot canvas tent sits on five heavily forested acres alongside a sparkling river. You can be assured of a relaxing, nature-immersion experience. As the only guest on the property (the host lives on-site), you'll delight in peaceful mornings filled with birdsong. After a full day of exploring, return to your campsite to prepare dinner on the camping stove with the provided cookware, or choose from several restaurants just 15 minutes away. A portable toilet is available for guest use and is located next to your parking area, approximately 125 feet from the tent. Please note that you will park your vehicle and walk about 125 feet to your campsite along a forest path. The path is dark at night, so we recommend bringing a flashlight. All you need to bring are your personal items and food if you plan to cook. A wagon is available to help transport your belongings if needed. Pets: You must add a pet when booking. Please note that this area is rural and unfenced, so it may not be suitable for all pets. If you bring a dog or service dog, it must be up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention (proof required) and remain under the owner's control at all times. The host has a service dog and is familiar with ADA requirements. No smoking, vaping, weapons, illegal drugs, loud music, or gatherings. At ICR, we honor the land and protect the vibe.Camping at its finest- everything provided! Luxurious tent, Queen bed, Cookstove, Firepit, Chairs and bench. Just bring your personals and food (or eat in town just 15 minutes away). Guests have access to the campsite and wooded property. Property lines are flagged. Enjoy a stroll along the 900 foot driveway admiring the towering trees, ferns and native bushes, and multitude of wildlife. Please note you will park your vehicle and walk about 125 feet to your campsite. A wagon is available to haul items if needed. THE PATH IS DARK AT NIGHT. At ICR, we respect and honor every being, from the majestic elk and eagle to the slug and mushroom and the natural cycle of light and dark in the forest. Flashlights are provided for your use. There is no electric or running water at site. Boat ramps for safe access to the river are a 5-minute walk or drive. Hosts lives onsite and their house is about 120 feet from the tent. It is within sight of the tent but the two do not face each other. You will feel the peace and seclusion of being the only guest on the campsite and have the peace of mind and security of having a knowledgeable host nearby. Please do not enter any structures or buildings. You are visiting a rural area. Elk, deer, mice, and coyotes travel through, as do a neighbor's friendly dogs. At night, you may hear owls hooting, coyotes yipping, or the neighbor's dog barking to run the coyotes off. In this rural area, it is legal to shoot firearms during daylight hours within safety guidelines. Sometimes people target practice at the gravel pit one mile away which can be heard. Absolutely no firearms may be brought onto the property nor may any firearms be discharged. If you choose to spend the day on the property, you may see the hosts and their service dog and rescue dog. You may also hear neighbors, some from over a mile away, working on their properties. You will hear different birds, maybe people laughing as they play in the river, and numerous other sounds as you sit safely on the bank above the river. You may hear livestock-guardian dogs from a mile away barking to ward off coyotes at night. Please download the directions to Inner Compass Retreats, LLC so you may arrive without frustrating wrong turns. Do Not Trust Mapping Programs in rural areas.
