Rhoda&#x27;s Joy

So glad we got to stay here - it was actually a perfect fall spot! The land is really beautiful and very well taken care of. The spots are really nice with firepits (when open), and picnic tables and space. You can definitely see the other camping spots, but I was really impressed with how much space is generally all around the land. The walking trail is gorgeous. The pit toilet was well kept and clean, and the hosts were super kind!

Rhoda's Joy it's absolutely beautiful. It feels very private but close enough to have a quick getaway weekend. They only have 3 camps sites, we choose campsite #1 and the tend set up was so good, we fit 3 big tends with plenty of space. Additionally, the bathroom was incredible clean and very close to the site. 100% recommend this place. If you want extra privacy I suggest camp site #3, which is more on the back.

This place was quiet and beautiful with the sites nicely spaced. Bugs were minimal. The pit toilets were well maintained with relatively no smell. Follow the hosts directions about staying on Salmon to find the chair. Your GPS will take you down the wrong street. I would stay here again!

This campsite was perfect there was so much space and still had trees separating us from the next spot. There was a very clean outhouse and the owners were so kind. Really pretty waterfalls to swim at about 10 mins away as well!

Great place for a rest

The sites are fairly spacious and not right on top of each other. They are clean and level and they all have grass! There is a vault toilet that is kept odor free with sawdust There’s also a Handwashing station outside of it. The fire pits are recessed and concrete brick lined so during burn season that would be nice. The stars at night are amazing and restful. I loved that it was an off leash site. Lots of great hikes nearby.

Very cool property and great campsites. Dog friendly and a bunch of trails to walk around on. Bathrooms were about as clean as you get for pit bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay!

2 night stay with family and pets!

Very ample camp sites, nestled in woodland property. Lovely upkept and private campsite. We camped for 2 nights in our new trailer. My kids enjoyed the experience, it was peaceful and calm. Our 2 small dogs were very happy to stroll the large property. Will definitely return given the opportunity.

The campsite was great! Surrounded by trees, large but not too large, plenty of space for cars and tents or a camper. There’s a short trail through the woods that is lovely. It’s only about 30 feet from another campsite, but we used some cars to block the view and add some privacy. Composting outhouse was surprisingly nice! We had plans to go to Naked Falls, but all the campsites are booked, and this was a perfect alternative, probably better than actually staying there and a short 15 min drive to naked falls.

Outstanding visit!!

Our stay at Rhonda's Joy in Washington was outstanding. There are 3 sites and we stayed at Site #3: Hidden Meadow. It was perfect for us as we have 2 dogs and there are nice trails to take them on - several times a day. We found a fun spring where the dogs were able to cool off as the weather was very warm when we were there. All the camp sites were very clean and spacious. We were able to throw the ball with the dogs and had a great location for picnics for lunch and dinner. Rhonda was very prompt with her emails and made suggestions on fun things to do on the property and just a short drive into town. So overall great experience both with the site and the communication. 5 Star experience.

Rhoda's Joy for sure!

This was my second stay at Rhoda's Joy and I totally agree with the name. It's my joy now, too. The site is immaculately clean including the decorated interiors of the composting toilet shelters. Unlike other HipCamp sites (where I was told to wear shoes at all times), I could go barefoot anywhere I wanted (mostly everywhere). The trails are easy to follow, clearly marked and all eventually lead back to the campsites. My favorite spot is The Spring, and I visited it several times each day. The whole site is a haven of peace and tranquility. I stayed 2 nights and didn't leave the property. I was solo camping, completely alone on the site and felt very safe. Rhoda is quick to respond to messages and is very clear with instructions. Thank you, Rhoda and Brian for sharing this special place.

The camp was great, 3 sites spread apart so that you know others are there but never need to be close by unless you like. Composting toilets and non-potable water for washing hands. Lovely hiking trails built out around the land to walk to. Plenty of shady areas and some sunny ones too. Adults and kids had a great time and we would come again if they’d have us.

Don’t miss out! Great tent camping

The pictures do not do it justice. All three sites are really well laid out— very spacious, very flat, very shady. We stayed in site 3 which I think is definitely the best, but if site 3 was booked for our future dates, I would stay in either 1 or 2 as well. The trails are well taken care of and fun for everyone. The outhouses are relatively new and very well taken care of. Best of all, there is incredible river access less than a 10 minute drive away. Who: parents in their 40s, kids (8yr, 6yr, 2yr) What: car camping, lots of coolers, we brought our Blackstone, set up two small tents. When: July with highs of 92*.

A lovely campsite! We arrived around the time the sun was setting, and it was beautiful filtering through the trees. Loved how convenient the site was while still feeling private — toilets nearby and fire pit, table, and benches at the site. We were here for one night and really enjoyed our stay.

Rhoda's land was a great experience. The camp site was clean and laid out well. I appreciate the outhouses with their decorations and function. The walking trails were great and our dogs loved them. Good deal on the firewood. I spent $10 on a wheelbarrow full of wood and it even came with kindling. I enjoyed the spring and spent several hours there dipping my feet in the water. Thank you!

Tent camping in site #3 was pretty great! There was plenty of space for two, four person tents and one two man tent with double the room to spare. The site has a good sized built in firepit and wood provided on site for $10 a load. The campsite had a big enough picnic table for me to hold a double burner and a single burner campstove. My partner and I were able to comfortably cook for our family of six. There area several well maintained compost toilets on the property. The views are gorgeous and the sounds of nature were plentiful. There were sweet little trails on the property and we really loved that our pup could be off leash! The property is so close to so many beautiful swim spots!

Magical private getaway

We were the only campers. This site felt very private. It is right at the base of the trail head. So perhaps if others were around, it wouldn’t feel as private. It rained on us the whole time, but we still had an amazing time being immersed in the nature around us. The bathroom was composting toilet and very clean.
