Rhett's Ranch is more than just a piece of land—it's a living tribute to the memory of Rhett, a beloved son who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Nestled on 30 acres of fields surrounded by trees, Rhett's Ranch is a sanctuary for those seeking solace and connection with nature. At the heart of the ranch is a large open barn, a versatile space that serves as the focal point for gatherings and events. With three stalls and an indoor/outdoor concrete floor, the barn offers shelter and flexibility for a variety of activities, rain or shine. Rhett's Ranch is just 5 minutes to the Port of Ilwaco where you can reserve local Charter boat to go out fishing or crabbing. There are many hikes available as well as North Head and Cape Disappointment Lighthouses to enjoy and Waikiki beach with weekly live music. Saturday Market in Ilwaco is May through September. Long Beach is just a 10 minute drive where visitors can check out the beach, fly kites, enjoy many eateries and shop the Friday Market and local shops! Fun towns also nearby are Astoria, OR, just a 15 minute drive south and Oysterville and Ocean Park are a quick 25 minute drive North! The Rodeo Grounds are located on Sandridge Road in Long Beach. The 2024 Long Beach Rodeo is July 27th and 28th, 2024. Limited horse stalls are available to rent during this time. But Rhett's Ranch is more than just a venue—it's a place where memories are made and cherished. Animals are not typically at the property however, at special events or extended stays (4+ nights) visitors can encounter a menagerie of animals, from mini ponies and donkeys to goats, pigs, and cows. For those seeking privacy and tranquility, individual "bump outs" offer secluded spaces for camping and reflection. Check in and out was easy, the porta potties were fresh and clean and we loved all the outdoor games. Field of dreams is next to the main camping area and both areas as spacious. Would highly recommend Rhetts Ranch!

Reserve Venue - Rhett's Ranch
This venue was absolutely perfect for our family reunion! The host was a phenomenal communicator, helped us with logistics to make everything went smoothly, and was a pleasure to interact with. My family (which is 30 people of all ages and demographics) all agree that we would love to go back for future events. Ample room for people to have privacy, and others that want to be in the mix, to be close to the action. Amazing views, serene environment, and an escape from daily life!

Awesome site, we happened to have the place to ourselves and it was an awesome spot for the kids to stretch out and explore. Went out for small trips to the beach and into Astoria for dinner. Really nice low key camp.

The campground is beautiful with plenty of places for kiddos to play. Each camp site has a tire play structure and lots of space. The communal camp fire is also great. Communication with Anne was excellent. I would highly recommend this site and hope to go back to it in the near future.

Rhett’s Ranch was great! Anne was so accommodating and helpful for our group. We lucked out and had the entire property to our group (and our 8 dogs) and we all had such a lovely time (even in the pouring rain!). We even woke up one morning two some cows grazing in the field. We’d definitely visit again 🏕️

It was fine. It's a big plot of grass, relatively exposed. Some good birdwatching. They have a bathroom. I never saw or met the owners, but I did see the giant group of people camping nearby us. Seemed like a large family reunion. They were fine and had normal 'family reunion party volume' until about 1030 or 11pm when they started to blast music so loud it made our tent vibrate. It felt like we were literally inside of a club. Thankfully this didn't last more than 45min, but still it was extremely disrespectful to everyone else on the land trying to have a relaxing evening in nature. It was a pretty selfish move. So, while it's a nice plot of land at first glance just be aware it's only going to be as nice as your neighbors allow it to be.

We spent the long holiday weekend with our group of 40 friends - a mix of adults, kids from 3-14, and pets - at Rhett’s Ranch. Anne was a fabulous host and came to make sure we had everything we needed. She couldn’t have been nicer! The activities for the kids kept them all happy and entertained and we all had fun taking photos in the cutouts. The grass was well kept and the camping spots were perfect. Toilets were spotless. Cell phone reception was spotty bit it meant everyone put away their electronics and focused on our time together. Perfect spot that allowed us to run to town and the beach for little outtings but be put of the hustle and bustle. Great find!! We definitely want to return!

Anne's property is wondeful for group camping! We met in the middle with a couple families and there were plenty of space for our three tents and 7 kids to run and play! We'll definitely remember it as a future spot!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property. We stayed over 4th of July weekend ( in field of dreams) and it was absolutely amazing. The property was gorgeous ( the pictures don’t do it justice) Anne was so friendly and accommodating! We do a lot of camping year round and this was by far our absolute favorite place we’ve stayed. The sand pit for the kiddos is awesome there’s so much room and fun stuff to do there. The stars at night were stunning. We were shocked at how private it was, we thought it would be like a big open field but it was very private. Our kiddos absolutely loved it there.

Rhett's Ranch Retreat
This was a great camping trip! The host was amazing and super accommodating. The property is clean and beautiful. There are tons of fun games and play stations for my kids and the adults. They had horses in the barn when we attend and my kids fell in love with them all. We will definitely be attending again. It was a close drive to the beach access. 10/10 would recommend

This place is a piece of heaven on earth… it’s very old school and makes you feel like you can just disconnect from the rat race and be present in the moment. It was very basic with some games like horse shoes, corn hole and Jenga, also some cool old school tires for kids to play on… it was definitely like going back in time … to a place of beauty and simplicity. Anne is an absolute doll and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We will most definitely be back

Exceptional campground!!! Everything was perfect. Place is beautiful and our children loved playing with all the toys and tractors shared by Anne. Anne was extremely responsive and nice. She even brought us a portable propane grill. We will be back for sure, thank you again!!!

I have done a lot of hip camping and this is by far my absolute favorite spot I have been at. So much so we changed our travel plans to stay another night. What a wonderful place for kids to have fun and for adults to relax. This is the best spot to stay at around longbeach, astoria and even seaside. We had good resception with AT&T as well as Verizon. The kids loved all the little games.

We had such a great time here! There was tons of space to toss a frisbee and for the dogs to run around. Pretty secluded from the other campsites and very little traffic on the road. We will definitely be staying here again!

We loved this place so much. It was in a great location. The host was such a wonderful person and brought us down our firewood. She was available for all my questions and super communicative. We do wish they had some form of water to use for cleaning dishes but we brought plenty to use. 10/10 can’t wait to stay again.
