Closest to the Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, our property is located in the rustic Nisqually Park Subdivision offering the perfect way to experience the Pacific Northwest. We chose to keep things off-grid, private (All to yourself!), and low-impact. We supply what you need to make your trip one to remember! Including; a furnished Geodesic Dome, complete with luxury queen mattress (Don't forget to bring your own bedding!), solar electricity to power and charge your devices, WiFi, a picnic table, fire pit area, and most importantly, fresh mountain air. Guests have access to a well-maintained, private porta-potty, and we kindly ask that all campers follow Leave No Trace principles. It’s how we protect this land for everyone who comes after. Whether you’re hiking the Wonderland Trail, chasing wildflowers, or simply watching the sunset through the trees, we hope we become your basecamp for all your mountain memories. We’re glad you’re here. NOTE: Photos of the Geodesic dome are currently AI-Generated. We are currently in the process of installing the dome and will update with actual photos beginning in May. Guests are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles and take all trash and personal belongings with them upon departure.

The Skyline Camp
Perfect location for exploring the SW side of Mount Rainier! The campground is very nice and clean. Two sites and one portapotty (also clean). The campground is within a neighborhood but feels like you're still in woods.

This place was great! We very much enjoyed the space. The mulch was a nice place to sleep. This spot was a little difficult to find. The campsite was clean. Overall, this campsite was perfect for us as we only stayed one night. Overall, 9/10

This was an excellent location right at the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier! The campsite was nice and spacious with new picnic tables and a nice spot for our tent. The only negatives were the porta potty being pretty full and how close the campsites were. I would say our car was about 15ft from the car of the other people staying at the neighboring site. They even walked through our site a couple times to use the restroom which was a bit annoying.

We loved staying at the camp spot. It was really nice. Basically right at the entrance to Mount Rainier. We are new to hipcamp, so know that you are staying at a private property and It could be in the middle of a neighborhood. We were just fine with that but didn't really know that there is other homes right there, across the road and behind you. But the camp spot was just wonderful.

My husband and I loved staying at this campsite! It’s very well-maintained and cozy feeling. It was easy to get to and the communication that was given by the host was extremely clear. We stayed only one night but would’ve stayed more if time permitted.

My wife and I came and enjoyed this site mainly due to how close it was to the national park entrance. We brought our dog and a baby and really enjoyed our site, it was a good amount of space for the 4 of us! I’ll be staying here next time I come to visit Rainier!

My wife and I realllly enjoyed staying here! I was really impressed at how close it is to the park entrance! The site was clean, and very pretty in the trees. One evening we walked through the neighborhood over to the river. The river entrance was a really beautiful place to watch the sunset!

The sites are clean but close together and the location is in a neighborhood on a crossstreet (so very little privacy). If you are just looking for a basecamp close to Mount Rainer to go exploring everyday site works great.

The site is just as described / depicted. You can’t beat this location, if you have plans to visit Mount Rainier NP or the surrounding forests. The outhouse was very clean!

The Skyline Camp
The skyline campsite is wonderful! The proximity to the Nisqually entrance of Rainier is worth it alone, but the site itself tucked away in a VERY QUIET and stunning mountain neighborhood with lots of other rentals. NOT a suburban neighborhood. There are houses close by, but you still feel like you’re at a typical campground. The tent pad was too small for our 10 person tent, but we just extended it beyond the border and staked it in loosely to avoid puncturing holes in the tent. It is also just a short walk around the neighborhood to a short, beautiful river trail! Helpful tip: IF you leave the campsite and go west away from the park between 10-3 you will have a LONG line coming back to your campsite because of the entrance to the park being backed up. Plan accordingly if going into town!

The Wonderland campsite was in a great location right outside of the park nestled in a quiet neighborhood while still feeling like you are in the woods. The porta potty was very clean.

I didn’t end up staying here because the weather was too warm for my pugs. However, the owner was very quick to respond to my questions, offer advice about hiking with my pugs, and where to get firewood etc. When the burn ban went into effect the day before I was planning to visit, they let me know right away. For this reason alone, I’d recommend them. Good communication is priceless.

Great little cozy spot right at the rainier national park gate. Campground was clean and quiet and isnt close to other properties, so did feel like camping although it was small neighborhood.

Super clean well set up camping area! Picnic table and fireplace were perfect. It worked great for car camping too. Porta potty was very clean and nice to have. It was a little close to the other campsite though so maybe not super private but that was fine for us.
