The Only Campsite I Will Stay at In Washington
This is genuinely the best camping experience I've ever had.
I was road tripping and car camping through Washington and Oregon and while in Forks I met Mrs. Willow and Mr. Charlie Ross. We got to chatting, and right away they were the sweetest, most caring people. Seriously, some of the kindest and most beautiful souls I’ve ever met.
When I told them about my little adventure, they mentioned they owned a campsite and immediately offered to host me. I told them I couldn't accept that as they would've had to clean up from all the wind for just me, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer.
I spent the day exploring, and let them know I’d be getting in super late. They even offered to stay up to make sure I arrived safely. I told them not to and did end up getting there at 3 a.m., but just the fact they offered says everything about how thoughtful they are.
The next morning they gave me a tour of the property, and wow, i mean WOW, they’ve poured so much love into this place. They’ve kept it as natural and beautiful as possible instead of tearing everything out to develop it. Every campsite feels private and special, and the care and thought they’ve put into it is unreal. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.
After the tour we just sat and talked for a while, swapping stories about life and our travels. I could’ve stayed there chatting with them all day, they’re genuinely the highlight of my entire trip. If you love real camping this is the place for you.
