Forest Off-grid Cabin at Log Hollow
We had a wonderful stay at Log Hollow Farm! It’s a beautiful setting and cozy cabin, perfect for the relaxing overnight we were looking for. And Amy is a wonderful host! We enjoyed chatting with her and learning more about the space and animals.

Forest Off-grid Cabin at Log Hollow
Pros: Super friendly hosts, lots of space, farm animals to look at, interactive cat experience
Cons: Lots of things that look destined for the dump lying around, toilet system challenges requiring complex bathroom strategy, finding one of the hosts sleeping in one of the cabins that was intended for use as an extra guest bathroom.
Overall: The place has potential, and the hosts have the best of intentions for the property, but we would hold off on recommending to a friend until they are further along on their plans.

We really enjoyed our camping experience! Loved meeting Amy, Rohn, and Donna! The animals were great, especially the cats! Cabin was awesome! Trails were easy throughout area! Cant wait to see the good things coming! Super excited!

Enjoyed a rainy night in this rustic cabin with powerful heater, comp'd fresh eggs, ice, and water. Loved visiting the farm's livestock, several friendly cats, and exploring the woods and riverside trails throughout the property. Great mission of inclusivity and education as well that I was excited to learn of and support!

Our experience at Off grid cabin was great. Stay was warm and we enjoyed the disconnect as well as the little luxuries the were still there for you to enjoy and make most of the trip. Enjoyed waking up to the birds singing and the sound of rain.
Rohn and Amy were kind and always a call away in case we needed anything, they showed us around the farm and answered all our questions. Their passion is contagious!!
Animals were the highlight!!

This was our second time visiting Log Hollow. The first time the whole family stayed and this time I had a quiet weekend escape. It was so relaxing in the cabin and Rohn and Amy were so kind and helpful. I will definitely be back next time I need to recharge!

Rohn and Amy were so nice and helpful even when our schedule changed and we arrived after dark. Rohn met us to escort us to the cabin and Amy stopped by after we settled in to explain things and ask if we had questions. During our visit our kids loved their room in the loft and exploring and interacting with the animals. They have such an awesome mission of inclusivity and education here and we enjoyed our time at the farm.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay! Amy and Rohn were very welcoming and yes, the cute kitty others have mentioned did greet us one of the mornings. :-)
Bed was comfy, the place had a lot of charm and it was away and within enough tree cover that we felt a lot of privacy.
We hit a snag with the shower's water heater were it would only run for 40 seconds at a time but eventually got it to work.
The cabin was more stocked than we expected. It also had two heaters inside and the flush toilet.
We'd definitely stay here again.

Super cute, semi-rustic (running water, stove with oven and lights!) cabin on a great farm! Hosts were very friendly, helpful and respectful. Animals were very friendly and cute! It was quiet and a little oasis in the middle of republican Washington. We would definitely bring our three year old back. He loved sleeping in the loft with the train set and the super friendly kitties that visited daily.

Amy and Rohn were awesome hosts. The cabin is exactly as described. Rustic and yet has the comfort for a great getaway. The animals and river were great activities to pass the days. Our kids loved every minute of our time at the farm. Highly recommend and will be back.

We loved our experience at log hollow farms! The hosts were very friendly and made us feel totally comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the cabin for our group. We really enjoyed getting to meet all of the animals and learning more about the farm, they're doing great things here and it was very inspiring. The river was a nice short walk away and we got to enjoy a little float in the river with the tubes that were there. Overall it was a really great weekend getaway and we'd love to come back again.

Log Hollow Farms was a great experience for our family. The hosts, Rohn and Amy, are extremely welcoming and nice. They made sure that we had everything we needed and offered lots of great advice for how best to utilize their resources and our time while visiting. The cabin is great. It's cozy and well-stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds are comfortable as well. The comfort and convenience made camping so easy!
Our two children, who are ages 6 and 9, had so much fun interacting with and feeding the animals (goats, horses, cows, chickens, cats) at the farm. The trails in the woods offer a good opportunity to experience nature. It was so much fun going on relaxing walks in the woods. We also had access to a canoe and inflatable floating rings, which we used on the creek that was close to our cabin.
Finally, we are just so inspired by what Rohn and Amy are doing at Log Hollow Farms. It is such a great resource for so many people, and the learning opportunities they are providing there are amazing. We only visited for two days, but we got the sense that they are genuine people who are using their space to make the world a better place for others. I can't give any higher praise than that!

We had a lovely and relaxing few nights. The hosts were lovely and the cabin was comfortable with everything we could need. We enjoyed walking around, feeding the goats, and eating fresh eggs with our breakfast. Definitely would recommend and hope we can come back sometime.

We had the most amazing stay at Log Hollow Farms. We needed a family vacation out of our house during these hard times.
We were able to social distance but also never felt like we could not get assistance when we needed it. Amy and Rohn were the most accommodating and kind hosts I have ever had.
Their ranch is a eclectic piece of land with friendly animals, easy river access, trials to walk, and never ending treasures to find. The cabin was perfect for our little family of five. (two adults 3 kids) The kids have asked us to stay again.
The cabin had all that was promised and is very well stocked for those who like to cook. We had no issues with the off-grid style of the cabin as everything has been well up-kept and maintained.

Staying at LHF was even better than we had expected. The cats that live on thw property greeted us upon arrival and continued to keep us company throughout our stay. The cabin is well stocked with basic necessities and was well insulated for a couple of chilly evenings. We will definitely consider staying here again!

The hosts were lovely,aways there to chat or help when you needed them, then nowhere and you were in the woods by yourself. The animals were beautiful and friendly. A real adventure in the forest!
