This property is supposedly one of the first homesteads in Jordan Road. This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing. Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike. Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history. Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning. Leave your worries behind.. enjoy nature.

CABIN 1 (Jeremy's Cabin) is a snug cabin. It has a King Size pulled out daybed and an Extra Large benchable bunked double cot with organizers and can sleep up to 4 guests. RENT an Extra Cot if you want to sleep 5. It has a Dutch door in front, a sliding door and deck at the back to view out and a covered picnic table so you don't get rained on. DO NOT RESERVE TO BOOK YET PLEASE, MESSAGE HOST FIRST (GIVE DATES, NO. OF GUESTS), orBooking Reservation will be DECLINED If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, unplug, decompress, and is looking for a safe place for yourself and your loved ones, here is that place for you. I had a great time glamping on this beautiful property! I stayed in cabin 1 this time and I will note it is a bit closer to road noise and the farm animal noises. (Which I loved but some may not) If you want it as quiet as possible choose one of the cabins further towards the back of the property. I enjoyed the openness of this cabin spot though. This stay was the best day my little dog has had all year being able to run and play freely and safely in the fenced property for hours on end!!!! We cant wait to return hopefully soon.

This is my favorite Hipcamp ! It was my second time to stay here, And the experience was like the first time. Grace is the kindest, most helpful host. She will show you the site, explain everything, and then give you privacy. I went with my friend and our 2 dogs. The area is totally fenced, lots of trails, a nice stream for the pups to cool off in. The cabin is so clean! ( The whole property is so clean!!!) There are battery powered lights in the cabin and outhouses for when it's dark. The cabin is so cozy, and it was so quiet. We had the best sleep !! And our dogs did, too, after the hikes. Im already hoping I can stay there again soon!

Grace was a wonderful host and so helpful and accommodating! The land itself was also very beautiful, lots of shade and huge trees. The cabin is just like the pictures and description--it's bare bones, but functional and well constructed. Unfortunately it was a bit noisier than I anticipated--there was a rooster somewhere within hearing distance that crowed pretty continuously, and most of the day/evening on Friday I could hear kids screaming from somewhere nearby. I know that's not the hosts fault at all, but I was hoping to be able to enjoy some more quiet and the sound of nature. The futon also smelled pretty moldy or musty, which made it less fun to sleep on. I think it might need a good wash. Overall, it was still a good stay and I feel like the listing accurately reflected the space.

If you’re thinking of booking, then just do it already!! Grace was so amazing and helpful!! This spot was absolutely perfect for our group! We loved the privacy and all the forest surrounding us. The cabin was cozy and the porch was a great area for cooking and gathering. Will absolutely stay here again!

The camp site was very nice and clean, the cabin was clean and comfortable and kept pretty warm at night. When it god colder the propane heater worked great. The host was very gracious, she showed us around and showed us how to use the heater. No one bothered us our whole trip and the host was available if we needed anything. We went to town on our second day and picked up things we forgot, the local IGA had everything we needed. My Subaru forester made it up the big hill just fine, just like she says don’t hesitate but 4 wheel drive helped a lot. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot begin to recommend this Hipcamp enough. We recently stayed in Cabin 1 and were completely satisfied with both the cabin and the surrounding property. The camp host was very helpful in showing us around, making sure questions were answered and even a last-minute adjustment. The area around the property is packed with all kinds of outdoor activities all within short driving distance. Great dog property to burn off excess energy and not have to worry about any side-eye from the neighbors. We will absolutely be returning to this site again in the future. Thank you very much Grace for welcoming us to your beautiful campsite. See you again soon.

Mini Forest Cabin 2
The cabin was cozy, clean and warm. We slept great. We came on our bikes. Grace and Brian were fantastic hosts - hospitable, generous and kind. They provided us with a place to charge our batteries and Brian took us up to our cabin and drove us back to the trailhead in his truck. He built three small cabins there with battery lanterns, fire pits, tables and a very clean outhouse.

Solo trip with my dog was lovely! We lucked out and were the only ones there so pup had free rein to roam the huge fenced in property without begging for scraps from the neighboring campers. He had the time of his life! Note: if you have a tiny dog there are a few places they could fit through the fence. My dog is on the bigger end of small dog size, and he could not get through anywhere. Cabins are nicely spaced apart & there are outhouses on the property. This would be great for groups of friends to rent out all the cabins. Grace is friendly and warm and will meet you outside her house, then drive up in front of you to show you to your cabin and a few ins and outs. The camping property feels private (you’re not in someone’s backyard staring at their house). All cabins have propane heating! I stayed in Cabin 2, there’s no electricity, but it had two lanterns hanging from the beam, and a puck light on a shelf. The futon folds out to a full size mattress, and there’s a small, lidded garbage bin in the room, and a larger one out by the picnic table. Windows have screens. If you’re planning on leaving the property during your stay, just message Grace through the app and she’ll open the gate. Perfect weekend getaway and would definitely book again.

A great spot to bring your furry best friend out for a weekend of camping! My dog Sally enjoyed the freedom of movement, all the new smells, and spending time by the campfire.

What a lovely space! Grace was very friendly and the cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and well-appointed. My pup had the time of her life running around and essentially turning into a forest imp. We would definitely come back!

Had a great stay, but make sure to book in advance, not day of. Amazing property that felt like we were deeper in the woods and mountains. The property was way larger than expected, plenty of room between cabins, with trails running throughout the property. Cabin 4 had two double cots, a pull-out king futon, and a lofted space; six of us were able to fit plenty well. The outhouse was clean and had toilet paper.

First of all, I want to say what a wonderful time my sister and I and our 2 dogs had at Grace's cabin !! Grace was so prompt at answering my questions, when we got there she showed us our cabin, ( wow, just perfect!) And explained everything. All was so organized with signs, and so clean! There was a gas fireplace, but didn't need it as it was warm. The futon bed and cot were so comfortable, And there were a couple of lanterns in the cabin. We so enjoyed walking around the property, Then enjoying the evening on the porch of the cabin. This is a most wonderful place, Great host, perfect cabin, so clean, We loved it!!!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this little off grid cabin. The creek that runs through the bottom of the property was beautiful. The 9 acre property was fully fenced which was incredible with our 2 high energy dogs. Grace was an amazing host and super friendly. We stayed when the temps got down to the low 20's but the gas stove inside the cabin kept us plenty warm. This was such a good forest therapy getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous Little Getaway

We pulled into Grace's property after dark, since the sun sets so early this time of year. But they were accommodating and super friendly. They made sure we made it to the correct cabin, and gave us a quick rundown on the property. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and got to explore the property with the dogs in the AM. This place is a gem! Highly recommend for folks with dogs who want to let them safely explore.
