Escape to a peaceful campsite just minutes from Port Townsend, Port Hadlock, and the nearby beaches. Tucked away in a quiet setting, Glen Cove offers a comfortable place to relax while exploring Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Whether you're traveling by campervan, truck camper, rooftop tent, or pitching a tent, you'll enjoy a secluded space with easy access to the area's coastal attractions. The campsite features a level gravel surface with a sandy area that's perfect for setting up a couple of tents. Potable water is available on-site, and the property comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Spend your days exploring nearby beaches, visiting Port Townsend's charming waterfront, or simply unwinding in the peaceful surroundings. Glen Cove is ideal for travelers looking for a quiet overnight stop or a convenient base camp close to both nature and town amenities. Please note that there are no campfires or toilet facilities, so guests should bring a camp toilet and be prepared for self-contained camping. Pets are welcome, making it easy to bring your four-legged companion along for the adventure.

We needed a simple place to spend two nights close to the Port Townsend ferry terminal for an early morning departure. We got that. But, the AI generated description of the location was anything but accurate. Quite, it wasn't, We were not the only ones there as there were two other semi permanent campers on site as well. There were no signs so we had no clue which site was ours. We parked in the only spot that looked like it was intended to park in, then contacted the host to verify. Turns out our spot was one "level" down. That area was freshly moved dirt that even with 4 wheel drive there was no way I was backing our camper into that mess. The host told us we would be fine where we were. The area the site is in a bit on the sketchy side with a paper mill a ½ mile to the northeast. It runs 24/7! Plan on hearing the backup beeper of the equipment there all night long. I try to be negative in these reviews, and I really feel like I am just being honest with this as it was far from what was described.

We didn't feel safe here so left and never stayed over. We found another wonderful spot not far.
