This Hipcamp is in my top 3 sites for tent camping. The host was very communicative, gave clear instructions and accurate directions. The site was clean, very well kept, thoughtfully laid out and has stunning views. A great place for R&R. I look forward to returning when the fire bans are lifted. A couple things: There are string lights in the pavilion, that has the picnic table, but they need a power source as they aren’t solar, so bring a jackery or such if you want to use them. There are cars traveling on the upper roadway, above the camp, but I think maybe 5 drove by during our entire stay. So it was a non-issue for us. Aside from the few cars, the road in is quiet and very walkable. The closest store, in case you forget anything, is about 10 miles away and it’s just a little convenience market. Book the stay it is well worth it!
