Communication with the hosts was fantastic for the most part. I inadvertently got confused as to check out time after looking at so many different hipcamps, and thought that it was before noon instead of before 10:00. Host never mentioned check out when I checked in, nor was that ever communicated other than what was listed in hipcamp. I received a text message 10 minutes after 10:00 That checkout was at 10:00 and immediately apologized mentioned that I was actually in the process of booking a second night because I did enjoy my stay there, and was informed that I would have to leave the property at least temporarily anyway because they needed the driveway for other activities. This was not a problem as I had intended to do that anyway and not 45 seconds later the electric was unplugged. I do feel that this was handled poorly on the host part and I did not book a second night.

Peaceful and rustic, a nice stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Recommended.
This Hipcamp location was beautiful! We had our own secluded spot on their property and were able to plug up our electric and fill up our water tank. Everything we needed!

We loved having our first night in the RV at Flower Feather farm. Suzanne’s hospitality was very inviting, we got to pat the goats and hold the baby chickens - kids and big kids loved it alike! Highly recommend.
What a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. The hosts are really invested in making your stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Their chickens are lovely ( yes, even the rooster). Our dogs were thoroughly entertained. We stayed on our way to Canada and booked again on our way back through. We felt like it was a 'home away from home'.

Helped us back in!
Overall this stay was bearable. Due to unforeseen circumstances we weren't able to use the primary camping spot and had to use their Reserve location. While it is quieter than being right next to the chicken coop, it felt extremely boxed in and if you're using a larger vehicle like us banking into this spot has a lot of risk property damage.

Always a pleasure staying here. The host is super accommodating. Got some farm fresh eggs this time that are super yummy.
The field in the back is in a “bowel” so it is a wet swamp year round. So if you need to walk a dog this is not a good place to stay. The road also does not have a sidewalk or a shoulder so really not any options for waking a dog. Unless your dog is okay with going potty in a muddy swamp or a gravel driveway it is very hard place to stay with a pet. It was very different than what I had expected after reading the listing and seeing the photos. The listing also say “flexible cancellation” but after I arrived and found it wasn’t suitable for us and had to leave and book another place the host said she would not do even a partial refund even though I had left 9 days early. It’s probably fine for a night or two if you don’t have a dog but wasn’t someplace I would book again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Space is limited as it is a working farm but the hosts were amazing and easy to work with.
The parking space is next to the chicken enclosure so your have the joy of roosters from sun up to sun down.
My kids had a blast with the goat walk and we look forward to returning soon.

Nice and easy to get here, was a great place to park our camper for a couple of nights. Suzanne and Jamie were a pleasure to deal with, flexible and friendly.
We LOVED this spot SO MUCH!!! Suzanne and her husband were so hospitable and met us with smiles. Any question we had was answered promptly and kindly! The spot was an easy access back in spot with an adorable little side yard to relax in. There was fresh fruit trees, an incredible view of Mount Baker and fresh eggs to purchase. Close proximity to downtown Bellingham, Vancouver and Mount Baker!
