Bring your van or RV and relax and enjoy our 20 acres of private wooded trails and views of the snow capped Brothers Peaks in the nearby Olympics. There is both power and water at the site via extension cord and hose and an outhouse just a few steps away and a public dumping station just a few miles down the road. The site we have currently set up is near the house for access to utilities but if you want something more secluded or need more space or want multiple vehicles let us know and we'll figure out how to accommodate you. We're just getting started here so we're very open to suggestions. We also have tent sites, a teepee, and indoor rooms available. Our private trails include giant fragrant eucalyptus trees from what was once a family nursery, as well as native Firs, alders, ferns, and nine different types of edible berries the ripen throughout the year which you can eat right off the vine. Just a few minutes walk or ride from our property is access to a private back entrance to the 3,500 acre Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park including world-class mountain biking trails and competition features, as well hundreds of miles of forested trails for running, hiking, gravel biking and horse back riding. Just seven minutes from the Hood Canal Bridge, this is a fantastic spot to start, end, or base your explorations of the Olympic Peninsula out of!Your gateway to the Olympics. Come enjoy our 20 private acres of peaceful lush forested trails. We have towering fragrant eucalyptus trees from used to be a long ago eucalyptus nursery, we have pines, alders, firs, and nine different types of berries you can eat right off the vine that ripen throughout the year. There is both power and water at your site, as well as a public dumping site at the state park just down the road. In addition to our private trails, the 3,500 acre Port Gamble Heritage Forest is only a few minutes walk or ride away. There you can find hiking, miles and miles of excellent gravel biking, and professionally designed mountain biking trails and features that attracts bikers from all over the world. The hood canal bridge to the Olympic Peninsula is only 10 minutes from the property. You can also rent sea Kayaks and explore the endless bays and inlets just minutes away. If you're looking for a base to explore the Olympics, or just get away and spend some time in nature, we'd love to have you come by!
