Campground is on a portion of our 40 acres property and directly across with views of the Sauk River- access to swimming and recreation at Backman County Park is a .25 mile walk. Located on a secluded road perfect for nature walks, biking for kids, and perfect convenience for adventures. Great base camp for anyone wanting to camp and do day hikes!

Come enjoy all nature has to offer right at the entrance of the Mount Baker National Forest! Conveniently located only a mile from local breweries and grocery, but completely secluded and forested. Each campsite has it's own fire pit and all campers have access to our extremely clean portable restroom. The campground is on a portion of our 40 acres property and directly across with views of the Sauk River- access to swimming and recreation at Backman County Park is a .25 mile walk. Signage and maps for trails are available for each campsite.  Located on a secluded road perfect for nature walks, biking for kids, and right at the base of the Mt. Baker Snoqualamie National Forest where adventure awaits. Great base camp for anyone wanting to camp and do day hikes! The campground has 5 sites, Sites 1 and 2 are ideal for campers or tents, site 3 is double size for group camping and site 4 and 5 are ideal for single family tent camping. Falls Creek flows right through the campground- enjoy a campfire along the creek Bank with the sound of the river in the distance! Lots of centralized room for games such as Frisbee and large children’s play area across the creek bridge. Nature trails on the property can be accessed and host a variety of berries to enjoy. Lots of hammocking is available, too! Pets welcome kept on leash/ well behaved. Additional parking is available near entrance.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and wooded, site was tidy. Other campers were there, but we didnt really see them and quiet hours were respected. We will be back soon!

The dumpsters at the entrance to the camp area were beyond overflowing. There were piles of garbage everywhere. The pictures and description are misleading. There is not river access from the campground and the 5 sites are all very close together and just in an open field. We paid for two nights and did not stay there. The place was that bad. Not only will I never stay there again, I will never use hipcamp again as this is my second bad experience with bad “camping sites.”

I loved camping here. We went mid-week so we happened to have the place to ourselves! Was pleasantly surprised to find the playground amongst the trail on the property, my son couldn’t get enough of the tire swing. The portapotty was clean, which was a huge plus for me. Would definitely come again.

Pros: not very many bugs but there was no water in the creek. Quite a bit of shade. Camp site itself was fairly clean. Good amount of space for two people - had a six person tent and large screen tent. Nice fire pit. Cons: no privacy - eye contact with other sites and can hear everything. Beach is not much of a beach… more of a river with large rocks.

We did not end up staying at the campsite. We showed up, and it was underwhelming. The site was very small and very close to the neighboring sites with little privacy. We ended up spending the extra money and staying at clear creek campground nearby even though we had already paid for the hipcamp. It had great reviews, so I was very excited to try it out, but unfortunately was disappointed. There was a picnic table and a firepit.

We loved the campsite, the picnic table and the playground with a Zip line was a blast. Very nice hidden gem, private space with a lot of trees that make the place more private. We definitely come back again!!

This was a nice little spot in the trees. The table and fire pit were a lovely touch, and the campground had the cleanest porta potty I've ever seen. It was close to Mountain Loop Highway, but we couldn't see the cars at all and the traffic was sparse enough in that area it was not an issue. There was only one other group there, so we had plenty of space, but I could see how it would be a bit cozier when busier. But it was a great spot close to Darrington but still felt secluded.

When we arrived, the site was kind of hard to find due to the over growth. I would recommend removing almost all of the weeds so the creek is visible and there is less mosquitos.

Second time I've been here and was just as good as the first! Stayed in site 1, it was plenty big enough and felt secluded compared to some of the other sites. Great location to drive up into mountain loop for the day. Porta potty was also spotless!

The site was great and fit my friends' three tents snuggly but comfortably. Site 4 had a picnic table, despite the listing omitting this. Neighboring sites were quite close and the central garbage and recycling were overflowing. Overall the downsides were nominal and my friends and I had a great time.

Simple and basic, but exactly what we needed. Place was nice and clean and wasn’t too big, so not a lot of traffic meant it was quiet. Location was great and I have never seen such a clean camp toilet!!!! Super helpful host! We will absolutely use again.

Great camp site! Everything was clean and well kept (Porta potty was spotless too). Super close to river and public park for swimming/wading. Nice big trees for shade to keep cool. Camp sites were a little less secluded an more open to eachother than we expected, and there was some traffic noise from mountain highway beside the property. Overall would still recommend, and enjoyed our stay, especially for a place super close to civilization!

We had an awesome stay! Devan was an amazing host. Would stay here again. Great location for rafting and short drive to mountain biking. The campsites were clean, spacious, and flat for campers and tents. Each camp has its own fire pit and mulched area to park a rig or tent. The porta potty was clean and stocked with TP.
