Evergreen Escape was not what we were expecting based on the photos. The camp is in the middle of a neighborhood in a less than ideal area. The camp area does not have any signs and it was difficult to find. For $60/night we were expecting something nicer…

Overall we had a great experience. I was expecting a drive up area so I could use my trunk tent but that wasn't the case and the spots are very very close to each other. Other than that we made the most of our time there. Appreciated the porta potty and fire pit. Also 10 min from Mount Rainier entry.

Three cozy spots, kind of close to each other but nicely shaded. I ended up sleeping in my car because I got in so late so I can't really review the tent sites. It was great having the porta potty and water spigot. Really close to the park entrance and easy to grab a coffee before entering the park. Road noise when I got there about 8:30 p.m. but stopped around 10:00. I would love to go back again when I had more time and set up a tent. Host was excellent at communicating.
