Beautiful, Private Riverside Camp
We had a great stay and would definitely come back! The site was beautiful, very large, and had tons of options for setting up tents and hammocks, making it great for groups. The ground is very sandy, so something to keep in mind for gear.
Definitely use Google Maps, as Apple Maps does not route correctly. There is a gate with a somewhat intimidating sign when you arrive, but we had no issues. The hosts were very friendly and helpful over text.
The river was lovely and felt incredibly private, and the color of the water was beautiful! Both ways down are steep but definitely doable. One thing to note is that the property has its own fire restrictions, so we weren’t able to use the fire pit even though there was no local burn ban.
Overall, a beautiful, secluded spot on the river. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
