Tacoma Narrows Bridge Cycling Fun
Since I was bike packing from West Richland I had 220 miles to get from home, to the campsite. Unfortunately, I needed to add another day at the last minute, on my outward journey. Brittany was so helpful and allowed me to use one of her other un-reserved RV sites instead. Looked somewhat comical with my little 2-man tent on that great big RV site...
Just a great location, near the river. And, so many blackberries! I had porridge with my blackberries for breakfast the next morning. So yum! I'm not going to apologize if I didn't leave enough blackberries for everybody else, LOL.
The campground was clean and tidy. The outhouse was also clean and nicely decorated. Really enjoyed myself!
Brittany had warned me to use bug repellant, but I didn't get a single bight. Maybe because I smelled like a man who had been cycling for four days, without a wash?
And, I made it to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and back, nine days, 529 miles altogether. So much fun.
