My 5 year old daughter had such a wonderful time riding Thunderbolt, Genitee's horse. Genitee and her family are very welcoming and we felt right at home. Our kids loved feeding the animals too!

Our weekend at the farm will be a memory our family cherishes forever. There were so many amazing experiences with the animals and delightful family on this peaceful farm. Our kids had a blast riding horses, collecting eggs, and spending time with all the animals. I hope we get a chance to return!

Tigger and Eddie are the most gracious hosts. They invited us to share dinner with them and had cupcakes for another guest's birthday. They invited us into their world and taught us an amazing amount of things for a short stay (one night). My daughter loved her first riding lesson--Tigger was a great teacher--and feeding all the animals in the morning. It was a very safe place for kids. We were living amongst the animals, which is the best if you're an animal lover. I knew we would love it, and it exceeded all my expectations. Kids will remember their time there forever.

Genitee (Tigger) and her partner Eddie we’re the most gracious hosts ever! If you have kids this is by far the best camping we have ever done. The horse back riding lesson was great and being surrounded by farm animals was perfect for the kids. The pigs, mini pony and chickens are true pets and would come up for pets.
We camped in the shady spot past the horse ring and it was lovely. There was a table, fire ring and wood. Lots of space for the kids to run around and Tigger was available for anything we needed. We will definitely be back again!

We absolutely loved the farm and Genitee was the perfect host. I also highly recommend the horseback riding lessons. My kids were instructed on how to care for a horse in addition to riding fundamentals. My kids had so much fun meeting all the animals and are already talking about when we can come back. We not only had a fantastic time but also made a new friend ❤️.

We had the best time here. Not only was the site perfect for car camping, but our hosts made this one of our most enjoyable stops on our coast to coast roadtrip. We were introduced to all the animals on arrival. Then we ended up staying up late chatting about all kinds of things. Definitely would stay again if in the area. Love it!

This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it did not disappoint! There is loads of space, and we definitely felt like we had our own private camping spot. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, you will feel right at home. Of course, the best part are all the animals! I would definitely recommend HHH Ranch to any animal-loving campers out there!

I don't even know where to start, we had so much fun! My son and nieces - ages 10, 5, and 3 still can't stop talking about all their new animal friends, the crafts they did, and our wonderful friendly hosts at HHH Ranch.
We stayed two nights and I thought we might take a little day trip, but we ended up having so much fun we never left the farm. Our hosts were very generous with their time and had endless energy and activities for the kids. Their animals were all very sweet and patient with the kids - to say that they were safe would be an understatement. We signed up for riding lessons, but ended up also doing all sorts of crafts. I recommend doing all the additional activities and getting the full summer camp experience!
One of my kids is usually a little nervous around dogs, but the big boisterous dogs at HHH did not jump on him or startle him at all and he was totally comfortable with them (and played with them a lot). The roosters started crowing early in the morning, but the donkey didn't do the once-a-morning bray until 8 or 9ish so we were already up. If the roosters will bug you, remember earplugs. :) I think my favorite was Sweet Pea the pig - such a character!
This was our first Hipcamp experience and I was a little nervous going to stay with strangers in an area less welcoming of diversity than the city we live in. Our hosts at HHH were incredibly inclusive, super friendly, kindhearted people. I'm confident they would be as welcoming of anyone as they were of us. Also, I forgot to pack coffee and they rescued me with a big hot cup both mornings - lifesavers!
What else to say? The site itself was tucked into the trees and felt private, though it was visible from the house and the barn. There was a picnic table and hammock already there, and a clean porta-potty outhouse was nearby. There is also the option of camping in the yard behind the house. There was a sink with hot water in the barn that we used to brush teeth and fill water bottles.
I don't feel like I can recommend HHH Ranch enough. They really take hosting (and farm camping) to a whole other level! We will definitely be back!

Our experience was amazing! As long as you are aware that you will probably be awoken by some animal noise in the morning, it is exciting to be surrounded by so many animals.

Best Family Friendly Farm Stay EVER

Tigger and Eddie are AMAZING!
After cancelled summer camps, a friend and I decided to find a farm stay for our animal loving girls! Tigger played a role of camp/art director and offered the best horse riding lessons/experience, sharing her love of animals with patient understanding and encouragement. Eddie shared leather crafting skills with history and passion! From art, animal friends and a cuddly chicken we felt like we became a part of a farm community in our short stay. Kids collected eggs and mucked stalls (at their request) to be helpful and immersed themselves in the experience. I can't recommend this stay enough and we will make it an annual trip! I just wish we lived closer!

Our stay at the HHH Ranch was everything we wanted and more! Friendly animals, space to run around and very gracious hosts - it can’t be beat. I would recommend this to everyone, but especially campers with little ones. There is so much for children to do and explore. Don’t hesitate. stay here! (PS The outhouse was immaculate.)

The hosts are lovely and the animals are great -- our toddler (and let's be honest, we) loved petting the horses, feeding the goats, and hanging out with the dogs and pigs. The hosts were so kind to our two year old, very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals, and really just kind people. We ended up not spending the night just because we live pretty close and were feeling a little lazy, but have no doubts our overnight stay would have been just as pleasant as our afternoon visit!

Best camping on a farm trip ever. It was everything we wanted: great hosts, fun horses, house pet chickens, funny pigs, shy alpacas, crazy roosters and spirited donkey- and that’s not even all! Our campsite was In a magical garden. The horseback riding lessons were superb. The leather working was a new and fun experience. The hosts welcomed us like friends. My daughter made me promise to bring her back every year. She gives it “a million stars out of five.”

What an amazing trip! Genitee really went above and beyond for our family. The location is about 45 min from Rainier so we used this as our base camp to explore and it was perfect. My daughter said “mom I thought we were going camping and there would be animals too but no we are actually living with the animals!!” And she was right. Genitee immediately made us feel at home introducing us to all her pets. Just when we thought we met them all we would discover another. My daughters jumped right in following Genitee and her daughter all over the property feeding and playing with the animals. There was plenty of space for our teardrop and water access close by. There is a fire pit that we gathered around for s’mores and enjoyed hearing stories about each animal and how they made their way into the family. This is not just a camping spot but more an experience. Thank you Genitee and family for an amazing trip!

We gave our hosts our eta and google maps took us right to their entrance where Eddie greeted us. Genitee was away for the weekend but I felt we were taken care of just as well. There were several small areas that were offered to us and we chose further away from the house, under the trees which was also close to the clean porta potti. Our mini, 5x8 camping trailer fit perfectly in that spot. Their very friendly 4 dogs visited us regularly and their large pig also visited our campsite periodically, hoping for some petting. There was plenty of time for relaxing in the evening and next morning. We were warned that their donkey was kind of noisy in the morning but that really wasn’t the case except for an infrequent bray when food was coming its way. Roosters crowing was never a nuisance, in fact it was quite enjoyable for us city dwellers. Saturday was exploring day so we took a trip to very small community of Elbe for dining in a railcar. HHH Ranch is a great location for a basecamp as Mt. Rainier National Park, Tacoma, and Olympia are all easily reachable for a day trip. After our return to camp, we spent the evening visiting and chatting with our host who had some great stories to tell. Mary and I will certainly return when Genitee is there so we can see what she does with the fiber from their alpacas. We look forward to another visit.

We had a lovely time. My husband was skeptical at first as he is not a animal person. Our kids were able to help feed the animals and gather eggs, play fetch with the dogs and received a few horse riding lessons. We also made some leather keychains and bookmarks. The overall experience was amazing and we are defiantly going to be returning.
The 9 hole disc golf course was fun and challenging.
There is a donkey who lets you know when it is time for breakfast and dinner, a 43 year old horse that wanders around like a lost alzheimers patient (she will walk close to your camp, might be frightening the first night until you realize it is the horse) . Sweetpea (black and white pig) who is the star of the show, was obsessed with my husband and tried to follow him everywhere for pets, even in the middle of the night during bathroom runs. The alpacas were amazing, I bought some of their yarn that our host had hand spun.

Visiting HHH Ranch was more than camping...it was going to camp! My 8 year old was thrilled with the horseback riding, leatherworking, and the many animals: the friendly dogs, pot-bellied pigs, alpacas, goats, donkey, and more. The second night we had a fire for s'mores, and the hosts shared jumbo marshmallows--which impressed my kid much more than the smaller ones we had brought. The hosts also gave my kid a bandana and cowboy hat, and we left with a dozen eggs they'd collected together. We're looking forward to going back!

We really enjoyed the experience overall, especially the overall hospitality and the farm animal encounters. I do not mind using a port-o-potty at all as we used many throughout our trip. But this one was covered inside and out with spider webs/cobwebs.
Our hosts gave us the option of indoor showers (which we took!) and indoor restroom, but it feels a little weird ringing the doorbell each time you want to do so. Also, a mirror and small countertop space to go with the sink in the barn would be nice.
