The property is set up nicely with 2 spots. Site A is the easier set up given the location of the elctrical outlet and ease of backing in the trailer. We had the site to ourselves, so this review is based on that. There is plenty of space for yard games, we played a lot of bocce ball, frisbee, kicked a soccer ball around and hung out by the fire for some serious rounds of Uno. The fire bowl is large and offers a great setting near the river. A Bald Eagle graced our presence hovering over the river which was a cool visual. The outhouse has a heat lamp which is suitable for a cold night and made doing the business more comfortable than expected. A very clean site overall. Only down side is the location is right off the hwy, so raod noise is a thing if that bothers you. Also, do not follow google maps, it will take you down Braeburn Rd way past the site. Turning a trailer around was a challenge. As you pull off the hwy onto Braeburn, the lot is the first left. Way easy to find, I was just stuck to maps, so more of a human error.
If you take this spot, you will enjoy it.

The fall foliage is gorgeous this time of year and the river made a beautiful backdrop. Porta potty was clean and had a nice heat lamp. Easy in and out for a 31' RV. A little weird having the owners come and go putting stuff in the shed while there. I wouldn't want to stay here if the other site is booked, they're not private at all. Very well kept, beautiful!

Great spot, right on the river. Nice spot for a tent. No issues.
Only downside is the road noise, being earplugs if that bothers you.

This is a beautiful site on the river with great access, a nice grassy area with a picnic table. For someone in an RV there are power hook ups, but no water. The one major drawback was the noise from traffic. Nearly impossible to sleep. We got there on a Thursday night and stayed through Monday morning and every night was extremely loud with the nearby highway. We were in rooftop tents, but I don’t think you would fare much better in an RV. Access to Leavenworth was about a 30 minute drive so not bad and the river itself was beautiful this time of year, I was able to land a few nice cutthroat on dry flies. The site was and portable toilet were very clean and I believe that the host does very good job but the traffic for us was a major issue.

We enjoyed our time here! It is really gorgeous, right on the river and cared for by the owner in a way that felt comfortable and homey. Unfortunately we had a hard time sleeping due to loud traffic from the road and a few loud people (voices and some music). If you are a light sleeper this may not be the best for you, but if not then enjoy the excellent location and river access.

We enjoyed the peaceful setting of the campsite, but unfortunately, the experience was completely soured by the host’s aggressive and unprofessional communication. After our 4-year-old unexpectedly got sick, we did our best to clean the area with what we had with water and napkins. I even reached out to apologize, but instead of a little understanding, I was met with repeated condescending lectures and the assumption that we trashed the entire site.
Apparently, we should have come prepared with a full janitorial kit and maybe even a Carpet Cleaner for the grass. Because, you know, nature is supposed to look exactly the same after camping with toddlers.
We left no visible garbage behind, and still, the host decided we “left a disgusting mess” and banned us from ever coming back. If you’re planning to stay here, make sure you pack a mop, some heavy duty cleaners, and perhaps a lawn restoration crew just in case.

The river scenery was beautiful and enjoyable especially during the hot weather. The power hook ups worked well without any issues. The traffic noise was louder than expected but could be due to increased traffic from the fire crews. The entry/ exit of the property was a little tight for a large setup. The lights in the trees and solar lights were a nice addition as well.

It was very private and a well-maintainted space. Nice that it's so close to the state park. The only bummer was that there was a lot of dog poop when we arrived.

This was one of the best camping spots we’ve ever experienced. It was easy to find and the views were unreal. The highway is near the site, but it’s not overly loud or busy and the river flowing is so relaxing. I would love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed tent camping at Mark's site. The site is right on the river and it was clean and a short drive to Leavenworth and many different trail heads. I would recommend it!

We loved this spot! I would suggest it for a full group though, it’s probably a little small for separate groups together at this spot, there’s river access which is wonderful for our kids. The mosquitoes go crazy but it’s to be expected near the water, just be prepared for that!

It is a lovely spot right in the water. The owner happened to be there when we arrived and he was super nice and welcoming. He has done a great job making it clean, cozy and beautiful. He has obviously put a lot of time and attention into every part of it (including a light and warming lamp in the porta potty). There’s an osprey nest across the river that kept us mesmerized for hours. Highly recommend.

Grassy tent site on the river
This was a cute little site on the river. It is very close to a well traveled bridge that makes it a bit noisier during the day than we anticipated but it is very quiet at night. Enjoyed watching the ospreys in their nest across the river and being visited by a pair of deer. One of our dogs loves the water and had a blast wading in the shallows the entire time while our other dog wandered the bank. And it’s close enough to Coles Corner to go back to pick up water and propane if you forgot to refill on the way like we did.

Great place to stay right on the river. Really liked that we weren’t surrounded by other campsites. The bathroom was surprisingly nice, and we enjoyed being a short walk from the local pub/pizza restaurant. We did have to battle the mosquitoes while we were there, so bug spray was essential.

Great site - recommend for big groups (need to book multiple “sites”), given that it is right on the river and quiet considering it is next to a road and bridge. Be sure to bring bug/mosquito spray!

The spot was beautiful, spacious and private feeling. Being right on the river gives instant access to a quick dip which was super nice.

This was my second time to Mark’s property with an RV. Went with a friend (Steve) last month and this time took my wife out in our tent trailer. It is a beautiful property with friendly neighbors on a private road. River access, power, a manicured lawn, and a clean portable restroom - what more could you ask for? Water hookups. I get it though. Looks like they are on well water and probably don’t want folks fussing with the pump for the well. Highly recommend. Thanks again Mark!

The place was very nice and private. The wife and I were the only ones there so it was nice. The views are great! The only issue we had was there were wind chimes in the tree that were very loud at night. So much so that we couldn't sleep. Our second day there I had to grab a stick to get them down so we could sleep.

Loved camping at Marks spot so much! It is right next to the river and has two spots to access if you want to take a dip. The huge fire pit was amazing and the lawn was really well taken care of so we were able to find a perfect spot to put down our tent and even hang out on the grass. There was a cute little pocket with a bench to hang out and enjoy the view. Also 5 minutes from both Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!

The spot was really really beautiful, though I did not realize that it would be so close to the RV location that is also on this site. This is no ones fault but my own, and I understand I'm a weirdo when it comes to my social anxiety, so we ended up not staying. That being said, this spot is REALLY nice, and folks who are curious should check it out. I'm gonna bet in the mid-summer that river is an absolute win to cool down in that is literally right next to your tent.
The grass spot for a tent was very large, the firepit is really big and nice. The picnic table was clean, and kept free of bird poop and it being next to the river was awesome. I did not use the toilet, but from the outside it looked in very good shape.

We had a wonderful weekend tent camping on Mark's land. The property and river were beautiful. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing by the river at night. The on-site porta potty was possibly the cleanest I've ever used. It's a very dog friendly spot with a nicely manicured yard by the river. Mark was super friendly and very responsive. It's a perfect place to base camp out of near the state park and Leavenworth. We'll be going back there again!

Gorgeous camping spot right on the river. Spacious and scenic. Super close to Headwaters if you are looking for dinner and don’t want to cook- fun local pub! Great location.

We really enjoyed our short time here! The location is super convenient and easy to find. Beautifully maintained and decorated with convenient electricity and spotless porta-potty. We loved watching the osprey in their nest across the river.

Lovely, tidy, peaceful. Private riverfront getaway is in a great location, down the road from Lake Wenatchee and the state park and an easy drive from Plain or Leavenworth.

Grassy tent site on the river
My wife and I had an amazing stay on Marks land. It was relaxing, well set up, spacious, and close to so many great places. Just a 20 minute drive to Leavenworth and a couple miles from fish lake and lake Wenatchee. We enjoyed relaxing by the firepit, hiking in Leavenworth, and fishing at fish lake. We'll be coming back!

Mark's spot was great for winter camping near Leavenworth. Well thought out site. Even has a heat lamp above the toilet! Nice lighting as well. River access. I would highly recommend this site.
