Here, you’ll find a dry camp setting — potable water is available for emergency use only — so we encourage campers to come prepared for a rustic, self-sufficient stay. This approach preserves the pristine environment and ensures a genuine connection with the outdoors. The area is home to the Common Nighthawk, whose evening flights add a magical touch to your nights. From late July to early August, witness the remarkable toad migration near the pond — a natural spectacle that fills the air with enchanting sounds and offers a rare glimpse into local ecology. Bring your own supplies for drinking and cooking. Nature First: No electricity hookups; only one western-style seated pit latrine is provided to protect the environment. Pet Policy: Friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome but must remain on a leash when outside your campsite. Farm animals and wildlife are on the property. Fire Safety: Clallam County Burn Ban is effective 7/1 – 10/1 unless closed earlier. Check current restrictions at clallamcountywa.gov. Amenities: The property features a pond and a rustic shed equipped with chairs and tables, available for use by all guests. You will have a large space in the corner of the property to set up camp and within a short walking distance to the latrine. Further down the driveway you will have access to a pond or shared cook-out area with tables and chairs. There is no electricity hook-up and is a dry camp. Potable water limited for emergency use only.
