Enjoyed my stay here so much that I extended from one week to two weeks. The site itself is level and has easy access to the hookups. There’s plenty of space dedicated to this spot alone. The street is quiet and neighbors are friendly but not nosy. Access to the beach is really close and the town itself is small but has all the basics.
A couple of notes for visiting: I was here in a cooler month and the town goes quiet around 7:30/8pm. As well, since there isn’t trash pick up for this site it requires some extra planning (especially for me, full time RVer with no home collection to bring my trash back to). I found the transfer station in Ferndale to be quick and easy, and costs roughly $16-$18 for one week of trash drop off.
Side note: SKAI sushi was in a very unassuming spot, but the food is delicious and portions are a little bigger than usual.
If I find myself up this way again I will definitely be checking here first for availability. This is the kind of place I’d also love to show to or recommend to friends and family.

Solo camping, friendly area

Tee’s spot was one of the best I’ve camped on. The layout was carefully designed with everything you need. If I were building a campsite, I would use many of the same ideas.
Tee was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when I asked a question.
Easy approach and entry to the property as described on Hipcamp.
Looking forward to returning when I next visit friends in Birch Bay.
