We had such an amazing time during our stay! Al was the most gracious host. The site was easy to get to and nice and quiet. We did a nice tasting and enjoyed chatting with our host. We even got visited by the local pups that live near by. We will definitely be back again!

Al was beyond accommodating even though he wasn't able to be there, so sorry to missed the opportunity to meet him and his wife. He offered his assistance Jenise and she was fabulous. Helped us park the camper and get acclimated to our campsite right away. The place is beautiful and very close to Rt. 29 in Lovingston, but far enough away to not hear any road noise. It was peaceful, restful and just perfect.

Highly Recommend!
This was our second stay with Al, and we enjoyed his property even more the second time. His wine is delicious and pairs well with the beautiful rolling hills surrounding the property. We were rewarded with stunning fall weather and foliage.
The site where we stayed is a large open field next to the vineyards. It can accommodate basically anything -- RVs, travel trailers, or RTTs. We enjoyed the site with a few other guests in the field, and still had ample space. The road leading into the property is narrow so be careful with larger rigs. Enjoy!

Great camping location. I loved the rustic nature of the vineyard. Most of the 6 or so campers that were boondocking were well spread out with lots or privacy for all. The vineyard also had power available if needed. Loved their wine as welll! This camping adventure was a test to see how my 3 dogs would do in our tiny camper. They did great and the vineyard was great for bring dogs.

Hay, This is Great!
Awesome camping spot! We arrived late and left early so we didn’t get to meet Al, but he’s built a beautiful place. A level, mowed hayfield provided a quiet, relaxing evening. We were even greeted by a great dog who insisted on licking our hands. Highly recommended!

Calm Retreat
Mountain Cove Vineyard was a serene and pleasant spot to spend a few days; indeed, it is lovely! The surrounding hills, the quiet, the mist rising off the meadow in the morning, and the owls at night filled us with deep content. To top off this favorable review, we thought Al a courteous, kind, and unobtrusive host. We plan to return as often as we can.

Fabulous stay here once again!
This was our second stay here (4 nights this time) and it's now our favorite camping spot. As before, Al was gracious, responsive, and helpful. The view from this property is spectacular, and we had the place to ourselves for most of Labor Day weekend. For future campers, there are two camping areas: One is a smaller field up close to the winery building where electricity is available, and the lower field that doesn't have electricity but has a better view, in our opinion. We're set up well for boondocking, complete with a very quiet generator plus solar, so we chose the lower field, as we had last time. But you can't go wrong with either field. We have a 32' bumper-pull camper and found the single-lane driveway into the winery and camping areas easy to navigate. Propane is available on Saturday mornings at the farm store in Lovingston about 10 minutes away, and there's also a Food Lion near the farm store for groceries. There are some good places to eat as well, and we found the Yelp reviews in the area to be helpful and accurate.

We needed a quick 1 night quiet stop for the night enroute home. This place was perfect. We got in after the winery closed but thanks to our hosts great directions we were able to find a level spot very quickly. Beautiful 360 degree views all around. In the morning we walked up the hill to check out the winery. Very quaint setup, would come here again

Camping, hiking and drinking wine.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Short walk across a field and your at a challenging hike “Fortunes Cove” The wine is delicious and the company is jovial. While there my Facebook memory showed I had been there same date last year. Been 4 times. No plans to stop going.

Camping in the foothills. Gorgeous
We LOVED our RV stay at Mountain Cove Vineyards. Al met us at the door and made sure the field where we would park was freshly mowed. He showed us water hook ups and the electric post. The views were spectacular! Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to take your camper. We thoroughly enjoy this Vinyard and would recommend it to anyone. I think what we like most is the place is not pretentious, like some vineyards. Al is a terrific host and his land is not only private for guests but super well maintained! Pretty vines, great wine, and good times. Thank you, Mountain Cove, for a wonderful weekend retreat. We will be back for more.
