Stafford, Virginia — Scoutcraft • Creekside • Off-Grid Feel Tucked away on our 8-acre homestead, this private campsite was thoughtfully built for our local fall festival and Scout troop events—and now we’re opening it up for others to enjoy. This is a place to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with the outdoors. Set along a shallow wooded valley with a seasonal creek, the campsite blends natural beauty with purposeful design. You’ll find a mix of open space and tree cover, perfect for tents, small groups, or families looking for a quiet escape just outside Northern Virginia.Site A has multiple locations for tents, one fire pit and one large central bonfire pits. It also has two counter height tables for serving food and picnics, a tic tac toe board, and precut firewood. There are NO hookups or restrooms. We ask that you stay out of the old barn.

The site was huge and loved the high table / food serving area, lots of free wood and very peaceful! Didn’t meet Skylar but when I got there I wasn’t sure exactly where to go and sent him a message expecting not to hear back for a couple minutes, but he wrote back right away, super impressed! Thank you sharing your cool campsite, it was just what I needed! I left some kindling and bigger pieces of dead wood that I foraged from the woods by the fire pit for your next guest!

A *dream* of a site
Tent
You will LOVE it!! I will recommend Skyler’s campsite to anyone. Not only is the site itself lovely (see below), but Skyler is a stellar host. He’s kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. He takes great care of the place in the way that you can tell he takes pride in his land. This site is private, well-situated, and close enough to civilization. There’s plenty of wood available to burn in well-placed fire rings and plenty of trees- but not so many that you can’t see the stars above you! 10/10 will be back, and hopefully next time for more than just a night. We genuinely didn’t want to leave :)
