Wonderful spot. We had a great time. Very relaxing and quiet. The yurt had all the kitchen cooking essentials for meals and the bathroom was very nice. Our 2 GSDs had a lot of fun exploring the area and there was plenty of space for their beds in the living area. We didn’t really explore the town or near by attractions(the grocery store was about 15 mins away so that was great), just enjoyed the nature and view.

Jamie's Yurt /Hot Tub & Firepit
Jamie's YURT was fantastic. It was clean & nice. The only trouble is, now my wife is insisting that we sell everything we own and find some land and build a yurt! Interested in selling Jamie? Look. 5 stars and we'll be booking again soon. Thanks guys

Jenny's Yurt-Hot Tub & Clawfoot Tub
Jamie’s yurt was very peaceful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Soaking in the hot tub at sunrise was a superb way to start the day!

The yurt and the land / area around it was amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. The yurt was so awesome and had so many accommodations added with it. You really can’t find a fault at all. So awesome !!!!

We loved our stay at Jamie’s yurt. The yurt itself was well stocked and adorably decorated, the fire pit area was great to hang out and cook in, and we loved being able to watch the sunrise from the hot tub or take a soak after a hike. The kitchen had everything we needed to make several meals. We also loved that it was pet friendly and that the gated deck allowed our dogs to go in and out while we were cooking outside or hanging out in the hot tub. The red yurt exceeded our expectations and we hope to visit again!

Based on the reviews I've read and the many photos of the place, my expectations were high and were still exceeded. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. The hot tub was ready for us and was amazing! Every day began and ended with a soak. The yurt was very nicely decorated, and we felt right at home during our 2 and a half day stay. We absolutely LOVED everything about this place, and will definitely try and make it back!

The yurt was so lovely! It had a small but well stocked kitchen and an extra bed for an unexpected extra guest! The bathroom was huge! The kids LOVED the hot tub, and roasting hot dogs over the fire pit. Communicative host, nice amenities. Yes, there’s some highway noise, and nearby neighbors, but they offered friendly waves when encountered on the driveway, and we all kept to ourselves. The view was gorgeous.

This yurt was so cool!! Such a beautiful setting, a great scenic view, and a very unique vibe inside. All the basic necessities are provided, the linens and towels were very fresh & clean. The gas logs kept the entire place warm and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. I do not have a complaint about this place! We loved it & look forward to going back in the future.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the red yurt this weekend. It was such a beautiful place. The decorations and art work in the yurt were stunning. The loft bed upstairs was super comfy. The location was super convenient. It was right off the BRPW. We visited the New River Trail, which was absolutely breathtaking. We would definitely like to visit again!

Great yurt, spectacular view. Cozy and homie yet spacious and kind. The forest is so peaceful and calm.
Follow the instructions for driving, they are accurate and will get you right there!

I surprised my husband with this trip for his birthday and let me tell you, it was a big hit! We did have some bad weather, but the snow just made it even more memorable. Jodee was super helpful and had prompt responses to all of our questions. The yurt was clean, home-y, and just lovely. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to come back and enjoy it again!

We absolutely loved the yurt - we needed a quiet getaway that was dog friendly and the blue yurt was perfect. From the moment we drove up and saw the view, the fire pit, all of the wonderful decorations on the fence and the lovely yurt we knew it was worth the drive to find this little slice of heaven. It only got better as we walked in the front door and saw how perfectly decorated and equipped the yurt was. JoDee thought of everything including bath bombs for the beautiful claw foot tub.!! The hot tub was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the clear night sky. Our older dog couldn’t make it up the spiral stairs, but she made herself quite at home and really loved that she could wander freely on the deck with the gate closed. We would definitely recommend the blue yurt for a quiet getaway and the hike up Buffalo Mountain was great too.

Cute and spacious! Kitchen has a two burner cooktop, toaster oven, small fridge and freezer, coffee pot, and microwave. Lots of utensils for charcoal grill outside. Great place for outdoor cooking and indoor snuggles!

The yurt was well appointed with all the necessities and even some extras (books, cards, puzzles). There was seasoning, dishes, pots and pans, nice sized refrigerator. No oven though, I’d rather have an oven than a dishwasher. The hot tub, grill, and fire pit were great! The views were incredible! I loved that there was a fence around the deck, since we have dogs. The bed in the loft was very comfortable, however the pull out sofa bed was not a viable option. The mattress was very thin and not at all comfortable. The furnishings and decorations were so cute and colorful! All in all it was an incredible place to say and I would give it 10/10

The attention to detail in and around the yurt is incredible! The decor is beautiful, the scenery is amazing, and the layout of perfect. My husband and I had a wonderful escape from kids and daily life!

Perfectly magical! We have stayed in yurts before and the way they made use of the space in this one is fantastic! Was able to accommodate me, my husband and my 5 and 2 year old. We had the best time and Jodee is an amazing and attentive host. Highly recommend!!
