This property perfectly is nestled in the hills between Burke mountain and Willoughby Lake. Located near many ponds and lakes. A short walk (1/2 mile) to Newark Pond. Willoughby Lake is 5 miles away. Bald Hill Pond is 1 mile and Center Pond is 2.5 miles. Burke Mountain is only a 12 min drive. Access the VAST trails and short distance to Kingdom trails. Unlimited beauty and hiking in every direction. When camping at Burlwood you can choose to be in a secluded grassy site or in a shady wooded spot. During your stay you may see deer, moose, bears, squirrels, chipmunks, skunks, and a wide variety of birds. The trails are marked with arrows and each site will be numbered, we ask guests to stay on designated pathways and leave the rest to nature and please no feeding wildlife.

Munson was really great and communicative. He gave us some firewood and checked in on us. Would totally come back! It was a beautiful and quiet spot. We had a great time :)

Quiet and private camping about 20 min from Kingdom Trails. Dark sky for stargazing. Fire pit. The hosts are awesome. Looking forward to our return trip.

Great location. Owners had a fire going when I arrived late on Friday night. Sight was spacious, private and quiet. About 20 mins from KTA. Great location and definitely going back next season!!!

Nice quite place, far of everything. I asked how far from campground to Burke Mountain. I've been told 10 minutes/7 miles. In reality it's 20 minutes and 12 miles. They said they would be there to greet us when we arrive. No one was around even if I told them around what time we would get there. They are a new camp. Clearly the open fire pit had never been used. It had been installed inches away from spruce trees (btw these type of trees catch on fire very easily). With some higher branches hanging almost over the fire pit. Before making a fire we moved the rocks from the pit about 5 feet from those trees (wich is still not enough), for safety sake, trying to avoid anyone starting a forest fire. Well I've been blamed by them for having moved the fire pit, despite me explaining the safety reasons. I've also been falsly accused of helping myself in their firewood. I bought my wood on a road side stand near Burke. We even had leftover wood wich we happily left there for the next campers. Not going back there.

La place est vraiment belle et très proche des randonnées à faire en voiture. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir et le propriétaire est sorti de chez lui pour nous aider à trouver l'entrée du site et nous donner toutes les informations nécessaires. Nous avons passés 2 très bonnes nuits dans un environnement très beau et tranquille. Week-end parfait ici ! Merci

We stayed only one night, and despite the rain, we had a great night! The site is really good. The night is quiet and very easy to find. The hosts are very nice, very open to discussion, they gave us beautiful places to discover around and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this place. The price is very reasonable too.

I had a great time camping at Burlwood. The spot was easy to find and I was able to park the van quickly (it was super flat!). The host was super attentive and available for questions. He also dropped off some firewood and a hatchet for free. I liked it so much I decided to spend a second night :)

We had a great time camping at spot #10. The setup was really pretty, surrounded by trees with a nice firepit. There are solar powered lights that guide you around the area at night. The location is great if you're planning on visiting Lake Willoughby or Mount Pisgah. The communication with the owners was always timely and they were very kind!

Breann was an amazing host! The site was good and we loved it! I will come back everytime i will visit vermont! Sorry i’m canadian my english isn’t the best
