We are outdoor enthusiasts; love hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, mountain biking, snowboarding, etc. As we've gotten older, our pace has admittedly slowed down, but we still get out there whenever we can. We also love food, travel, music, life, our fur babies and a lot of other things. Glamping Canyonlands is an off-the-grid property with four 16.5 ft and one 16x24 ft canvas wall tent, a glamping pod and NEW air conditioned Skylight Casita. The tents are furnished with a comfortable memory foam queen mattress fitted with bedding, extra blankets, seating for two, area rugs, end tables, string lights, board games, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, phone battery pack, small battery operated fans, 2 deck chairs, private firepit with grill top, hammocks & picnic table. Communal areas are bathrooms with a flushing toilet, warm shower, outdoor kitchen, and, picnic tables. French press coffee each morning. Starlink Internet is available. Late check-ins are available. You will receive more information closer to your arrival date. The small town of Monticello-15 mins, Newspaper Rock-15 mins, Foy Lake-25 mins, Canyonlands NP-40 mins, Moab-40 mins, Arches-50 mins. We've been married since 2012 and best friends since 2006. In fact, it was our honeymoon in the Canyonlands National Park that inspired us to open Glamping Canyonlands, our eco-friendly, off-grid campground. If there is anything specific you'd like to know about us, just ask! We hope we get the opportunity to meet you in the near future!

Off Grid Stargazer Tent

100% (47)
Bell tent · Sleeps 2
Our only tent with clear ceiling windows to allow for indoor stargazing. A private viewing deck, hammocks, picnic table and firepit are key outdoor features each of our tents offer. All our accommodations are at least 50 yards away from each other to provide maximum privacy. Inside our bell tents there is a cozy queen bed to accommodate up to 2 people. Each tent has their own unique carefully thought-out design with extra blankets, lounge seating, string lights, fans and a propane heater for cooler nights. Battery packs to charge phones. We are a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy pasture raised chickens. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip. Locally roasted coffee/tea delivery service and breakfast is available. We have vintage fridge that we turned into a free library. Bring a book to swap out or take home a book to enjoy. No pets are allowed. We do have 1 dog, Raven, and many friendly chickens. Communal spaces are a fully equipped kitchen, grilling deck, Adirondack seating area, modern bathrooms and a cedar barrel skylight bathroom. Bathrooms are a short distance from the tent, less than a 1 min walk. Sauna is available by appointment to our guests. Strong Wifi available (will not reach Sage Tent). Why not add an Astronomy Tour? Date and tour options available at checkout. Firewood, fire starter, propane tanks (for heaters) and smores are available to purchase. Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning. When you call, email or have questions, you will be talking with us. We hope to welcome you!
