Beautiful riverfront access to enjoy watching the 2024 Solar Eclipse in TOTALITY! We offer full sun, wooded, and/or riverside spots available on our 1-acre property in Liberty Hill, TX. This is primitive tent camping only—there are no hookups. With plenty of open space, you'll have the opportunity to privately explore the North Fork of the San Gabriel River!
Enjoy the river from our property or take a hike to a private location along the river that appeals to you. There are cliff sides as well as flatland to view the solar eclipse. The river is flowing, so feel free to swim, try your luck at fishing, hike, or relax while watching the wildlife. We provide one fire pit for all campers to share; bring your own firewood, or you can purchase a bundle on-site. You're welcome to bring your own portable BBQ as well.
Access to one indoor bathroom downstairs in our home at the front of the property includes a toilet, single-person shower, and sink (toilet access 24/7, but no showers after 10 pm). There is also access to a water hose outside. Guests must sign a liability waiver upon arrival. No animals are allowed, and there is no fenced yard. The property is not wheelchair accessible. Parking is only available at the front of our property, and tent camping is only available at the back.
Tent camp sites will be limited to 10’x10’ plots on a first-come, first-served basis. However, feel free to move around the lower area and river when not in your tent. You can also leave/enter the property at any time to go adventure around town, eat, etc.
Remember, what you bring onto the property must leave with you; please respect the river and our land.
