Camp Ollie Lou is in the path of totality (over 4 minutes of darkness!) and we are throwing a party to celebrate! Campsite rental includes entry to "Total Eclipse of the Mind: A Wellness Focused Viewing Party" event, where we are pairing eclipse viewing with activities to enhance your emotional and mental health (host is a Psychologist and Camp functions as a nature retreat for individuals and small groups). You must bring your own water and there is portable toilet access. Firewood available for free; campfires will be weather and burn ban dependent. You are likely to see axis deer, our resident fox, and a variety of birds during your stay. Hammock provided for relaxing and cozying up with your camping buddy under the stars! Short, rugged hiking trail with elevation changes makes for a challenging and peaceful adventure. Keep a lookout for our mental health check-points spread across our 11 acre property. Quick walk to our hilltop for amazing Hill Country sunrise and sunset views. No pets allowed. Camp Ollie Lou is a growing, nature retreat in the Texas Hill Country, co-founded by a Psychologist passionate connecting people to nature. We are living in an increasingly stressful world, and the research is clear: being in nature restores our mental health and helps us cultivate emotional resilience and psychological growth. We offer three, private campsites to soak up all the benefits that nature has to offer us!
