Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We are a family-owned and operated farm that raises alpacas, Highland cows, Nigerian Dwarf goats, and KuneKune pigs. We have walking paths throughout the property where guests can view the animals, and on Saturdays, we have a food truck on-site. We offer safari tents, RV sites, and tent camping areas. Tucked into a beautiful landscape near Dale Hollow Lake, our farm is the perfect place to enjoy nature while staying close to all the fun lake activities. A real working farm: you're staying in the middle of the action, and our animals keep farm hours. Roosters start before sunrise, the pigs get vocal at feeding time, and the alpacas hum. If you're a light sleeper, pack earplugs and you'll sleep great — but if you love waking up to a farm, you're going to love it here. Meeting the animals: guests are welcome to come say hi! For everyone's safety (yours and theirs), please stay outside fences and pens unless we're with you, let us introduce you before petting or hand-feeding, keep little ones within arm's reach around the animals, and never enter an enclosure on your own. Some animals are friendly, some are shy, and a few have opinions — we'll show you who's who. Wash hands after animal contact. RVs & large rigs — please read before you arrive: Don't follow your GPS's default route to us. It sends big vehicles up Jaybird Road, which is steep and has posted no-truck signs. Instead, take TN-294 to Old Stover Road and come in from that side — gentle and easy the whole way. Regular cars are fine either way. Not sure which way to come? Message us before you head out and we'll talk you in.

Alpaca Field RV Site 1

RV Site 1 is located in the heart of the farm, close to the center of activity and with great views of the alpacas! You get to park your rig alongside the fence for the alpacas so you can enjoy the animals! As well as having the ability to stroll the farm and see the other animals like the highland cattle or Nigerian Dwarf goats. It is a large space with electricity hookups. There are no bathroom amenities. Guests will need to be self contained. If you stay on a Saturday, we have the food truck on site open from 11am - 7pm serving smashburgers!

Alpaca Field RV Site 2
