Welcome! I am so happy to host you in my little piece of paradise. I have a 4.5-acre oasis less than two miles from Rocky Fork State Park (you can walk there!) and just a short 15-minute drive to Erwin, TN. The land is also located only 45 minutes from the vibrant community of Asheville, NC, and 30 minutes from Johnson City, TN. You are surrounded by nature, yet can easily access grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and nightlife. Golden Goat Herbals has a common house with a full kitchen and a bathroom with a hot water shower. You are welcome to use this space to relax, cook your meals, and wash up after a long day’s hike. There is also an extensive wellness library for you to explore, filled with books on nutrition, herbalism, and homesteading. The property features a small creek where you can relax and listen to the water, as well as a large garden abundant with food throughout spring, summer, and fall. The workshop kitchen and herbal apothecary are now complete, so guests are welcome to stay on the land and participate in classes where you can learn how to grow and preserve food and make herbal remedies for yourself and your family. The large deck on the workshop kitchen is open for you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the epic mountain views. ABOUT OUR DOG FRIENDS VISITING: Leashed dogs are allowed at the Creekside camping and the dome spots as well as on the property (not in the garden areas!!). They are not allowed at the main house. My dog Babycita is territorial around her living space. I also have three indoor/outdoor cats. It´s important to me that guests have their dogs leashed and keep them away from other pets and plants. I LOVE dogs and want the experience to be good for all beings which is why these boundaries are in place.
