Nomadic camping

Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We’re a young homestead, just a year or two old, set on 15 acres—mostly forest with a small patch of grassland. On the property, you’ll find a large garden, a rocky-bottom creek, and wild blackberry bushes. Two friendly cats and a dog free-roam during the day, adding to the homestead charm. We’re well positioned for hunting and fishing: a wildlife refuge sits just across the gravel road, and a boat ramp into the Tennessee River is only a mile away. This is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to be surrounded by wild land. The nearest gas station is about 15 minutes away, and the nearest town is about 25 minutes away.Small off grid site perfect for tents or small RVs. There is a rocky bottom creek that wraps two sides of the site. Forest wraps three sides of the site with prairie on the forth. There is a patch of blackberries in the site that you are welcome to when they are ripe in the summer. Fire pit and two chairs available for use. There is free fire wood included, just please restock what you use from the main pile. Power and Wi-Fi are available at the pole on the opposite side of the property if you just need to charge your phone or something small. Access to the site does include crossing a creek so vehicle access may be limited in the spring.
