Peaceful healing property. We do organic gardening and have animals that you can visit with as well. I have a sculpture studio and art gallery that you can come check out. We've been living off the grid for over 30 years. Come visit us and learn about our way of life! Enjoy complete privacy in a cozy forest retreat hut in a beautiful hollow in Middle Tennessee. Accommodates 2. Pretty steep 200 yd uphill hike to hut. Perfect for relationship getaway, spiritual retreat, or writing - planning intensive. Nationally-known spelunking (Indian Grave Point Cave) within 1/2 mile. 3 miles from Center Hill Lake. Hiking trails. Experience our alternative lifestyle with owner built solar log home, organic gardens and sculpture studio. Guests must arrive before dark to ensure finding correct address (GPS errs a last moment) and to facilitate hike up to hut. Potable water, trash disposal, and a toilet are available on site. Rocket the Spirit Guide

We couldn’t have been happier with the kindness and good vibes of the host. As well has the camp dog Rocket! Truly beautiful, private, and serene. The perfect get away. We will definitely be back! Reading out the experiences of campers previous was one of my favorite parts. I look forward to reading more in the future.

If you have time, go ASAP

This campground is a truly wonderful place to turn off your brain and just connect with nature and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds Mother Nature has to offer. It is a magical place of healing and self reflection. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to just center themselves and repair the damage done daily by the typical stresses and adversity of everyday life. It is also the best place to strengthen and build upon any relationship you have with that special someone and set your intentions moving forward. I know it did just that for us! William is a gracious host and an all around awesome guy. I will be coming back whenever I get the chance!

Magical

The moss. The trees. The art. All the critters singing at nighttime. This place is wonderful. As soon as you pull into the driveway the atmosphere changes, they have made it their own cool little world. The energy is peaceful. William is so kind and has such a beautiful soul. Rocket is the sweetest little dog and lives his best life on this magical land. Go see the studio, this man’s sculptures are something I have never seen before, they are unreal. I bought the coolest spoon/spatula & cutting board that I will cherish forever. OH!! And I did not find the hike up too steep or bad at all but I am an avid hiker and used to inclines. I recommend hiking shoes, no shoes that are slick. If it’s too hard for you, take breaks and look around, it’s beautiful out in the woods. Prepare to meet thy self! ✌🏻 ps. we left a little friend in the window sill up in the loft, his name is Clyde, I hope he makes you smile.

What a beautiful place! The drive into the property is gorgeous. We met William upon arrival and his friendliness was so inviting. We ventured to his shop and gallery. What a treat! Then it was onto the hike up the hill to the cabin. Steep, yes! But what a glorious reward at the top. The cabin had all we needed from bedding to wood burning stove and a bottle of fresh spring water. The huge windows allowed us to watch deer meander down the hillside and watch the rain fall steadily. The outhouse was so welcome. It was cozy and quite comfy! We enjoyed the hike around the property which was very well marked. An overall wonderful quiet relaxing place to get away. We stopped on the way out to watch as an owl flew to the tree top after hunting in the creek. We look forward to returning and are thankful to have such a wonderful retreat so close to home.

I don't know how many times I can say it, but WOW! Everything about this trip was unforgettable. The hike, the cabin, the woods, the art studio, William's cabin and homestead, Rocket! I've never felt so in awe both by art and nature and the combination of them both in the same place.

Such a Blessed Stay!

I had such a good time! The reset was much needed! I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up leaving on the 3rd day just to get my youngest daughter to finish out the last 2 days! She had a blast and helped me get back in touch with my inner child! Thank you for facilitating such a beautiful space for healing and rejuvenating ones soul!
