This was a perfect home and location! It was exactly as described. Had the most amazing view and had all the essentials needed for a great stay. I would highly recommend!!

This beach shack was sooo magical. It had everything we needed to settle in and cook comfortably for a few days. The kitchen setup includes a propane stove, pots/pans, cutlery, a coffee press, and a refrigerator. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with coffee, sugar, a pitcher of water, and ice.
The restroom was clean and comfortable to use, and the sleeping setup was great, a bunk bed plus a separate full bed.
There are also two two-person kayaks available to rent. They’re great quality, just keep in mind they’re a bit heavy, two people carrying them works best so you don’t have to drag them.
There’s a bug zapper that helped a lot. If you’re especially sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring bug spray, citronella coils, or a mosquito net. The beds didn’t have nets, but personally I didn’t feel like we needed them.
Even though I stayed here with my partner, I’d feel comfortable staying here as a solo female traveler. The only thing I’d recommend is arriving while it’s still light out, the roads are a little dark at night.
My only regret is not bringing a set of dominos to play on the domino table!

This was our second time in six months and still rate this a five! The location is simply "marvelous" and this time around we changed our strategy: we were not going to get a better view to watch the sunset and so, instead of going out to dinner every night, where service is less than ideal, prices above average and the views not as spectacular, we brought everything we needed to cook for ourselves for three nights. It was spectacular! We mitigated the lack of warm water by bringing solar camping bags that warm up the water along with lots of citronella candles.
We are sure we will be returning at least twice per year. What a gem this place is! BTW, we even did some fishing!

The most scenic relaxing spot! Vmost epic views from sunrise to sunset. Take advantage of relaxing in the comfortable shaded outdoor space. all day. There is lots of privacy. There are fans available for every bed which made for a comfortable sleep. 10/10 experience would highly recommend. The only thing is the shower does not get hot. Stays about cool to lukewarm but because the days are hot it’s pretty refreshing so just keep that in mind

This property was everything we expected it to be and more! Here is who, in my humble opinion, would likely love this place: anyone looking for a tropical breeze, quiet evenings and spectacular sunsets! Our only regret is not bringing food supplies so that we could fix our own dinners instead of having to go out each evening. The loud noises “La Parguera” generates, something we are all too familiar with in Puerto Rico, is conveniently blocked by “Punta Papayo”. You will, however, not be immune to the noise or “voseteo” generated by boaters passing by during the day or the flotilla of boats parked at “Cayo Caracoles” a mile away in the water. However, they will go home as soon as the sun sets and you will be treated to the small waves crashing upon the shore the entire night. It will be so quite at night that you will in fact hear fish splashing on the water. Some of the reviews I read beforehand complained about bugs, somehow forgetting they are on a tropical island. If unsure about the bugs, first re-read the description of the place then play it safe and get a mosquito net on Amazon ($9).
We in fact CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN and next time we will be staying longer!

This place is amazing. Honestly, it's one of the best places we've ever stayed. It is right over the ocean, has everything you need to cook, and is just so incredibly relaxing. Sitting in the breeze and looking out over the water is heaven. We also rented the house kayak and went over to a nearby cay and snorkeled. It's also possible to kayak around the corner to the La Parguera bio bay. So cool! We would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it wholeheartedly.

We had a great time at the Shack. The location is very private and beautiful. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and had everything you need. We rented kyacks and had a great time out on the water. Definitely coming back!
