Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Farmette surrounded by farmland and beef cattle, offering sunset views and located less than 2 miles from Interstate 81. Relaxing atmosphere with grassy walking paths, a fire pit, picnic table, stumps for axe throwing, friendly neighbors, several chickens, and a people-loving dog. We are a 30-minute drive from Gettysburg, PA to the east and a 15-minute drive from Interstate 70 to the south. Nestled in the Cumberland Valley, with mountains to the east and west and rich Civil War history nearby. When in season, feel free to help yourself to blackberries, raspberries, elderberries, and grapes. Seasonal vegetables are also available from the kitchen garden.Pasture site is situated behind historic (and photogenic) bank barn with full view of sunset over mountains. Surrounded by grassy walking paths, nearby stumps for axe-throwing and within walking distance of fire pit and sitting areas. Space to set up your own lawn games (you provide). May hear my chickens greeting you in the morning, and may hear neighborhood cows or tractors.
