Nice camp, clean porta potty, right off the highway to crater lake. Two roads pass on either side of the camp so you do hear some traffic but not bad.

It was very peaceful, it is nearby a road but very secluded campsite and had all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed our stay!

Simple and clean site near the southern entrance to Crater Lake National Park. Surprisingly pretty view across the street. The picnic table is huge and the tree trunks under added a nice rustic aesthetic. We loved sleeping among the aspen trees and the potty and water were only a short walk down the road at the next site.

This is a well-maintained campsite, easy to find, and the restroom facilities were clean. Water pump is easy to use. Convenient trash disposal and an absolutely stunning view. In mid-July it is VERY dusty, and evening mosquitos are significant, just fyi. As advertised, it is next to the road, so you will hear cars and motorcycles at peak hours, but it did not affect our sleep. We stayed two nights with our child and two dogs and felt safe and comfortable.

Great campsite. Perfect location for our one night stop over exploring Crater Lake. This place feels newly established - the sites are cozy and the host was welcoming but not overwhelming. I’m confused by previous reviews, apparently there are folks using Hipcamp that aren’t campers? This is a basic site - exactly as advertised, and was very private and beautiful. Highly recommend!

The space for the campsite is adequate. All 3 spaces (A, B and C) were fairly the same size. Space C is next to the port-a-potty. Nevertheless, its a very basic campsite. The table was impressive: solidly built, levelled and done by hand.
I never met nor saw the host whilst I was there. Neither did the others staying there.
It was 4th of July weekend and I was in a fix with nowhere to camp. Hipcamp came through with this reservation.
Still, the road in plus the campsite itself was dusty. Real dusty. There was no gravel anywhere on the property which allowed anything or anyone to kick up alot of it.
There was no runing water anywhere, despite the site listing it had. There was one water line, but nothing came from the spigot. A manual well pump nearby also proved fruitless.

Could not find the place. No address posted, no detailed directions. No signage indicating a HipCamp. Mosquitoes all over. Stayed at a hotel that night. Unacceptable

The good:
It’s close to Crater Lake, booking was easy, communicating with the host was prompt, portapotty was clean, there is a pretty meadow across the highway.
Could be improved/adjust your expectations:
- The entrance is through a narrow driveway with an immediate, sharp turn. Our truck alone barely fit, much less our 19-foot trailer. Seems like nothing more than a sprinter van would fit unless some trees are removed.
- The mosquitoes. They don’t take a break, even in the morning. We’d read the reviews and thought we were prepared with repellent. We decided to leave early as a result.
- Remember this is next to a volcano, so the ground is soft and ashy.
- It’s next to a highway. Not busy at night, but something to consider if you imagine yourself in a more-removed space.

We do a lot of camping, and this camp spot in the Wood River Valley is truly unique. Camping in a grove of Aspen with a view across the valley was special. I think we were one of his first campers! It was nice to have potable water nearby and I understand he is looking to add showers at some point which will make this place unbeatable!
We will be back.

Great tent camping experience! Views of the mountains and meadow + not far from Crater Lake. Easy to find, nice picnic table under old growth ponderosa pines and aspens. Right near river and an amazing natural foods store. Bring mosquito repellent!
