We really enjoyed camping at Whiskey Point. We were not entirely sure what to expect with the new listing but were happily surprised. Porta-potty was available on site and clean. Each site had a picnic table and fire pit. We comfortably fit two large (10’ x 14’) tents while still having more than enough room for coolers, meal prep tables, and space around the fire pit.
Our dog loved swimming in the river but be careful of the current. Make sure to bring plenty of water but if you forget grocery stores are not too far away.
During our stay a few sites were set up but it’s clear they have more on the way. This is a fantastic property with lots of room to grow while still making sure campers have some privacy from each other.
