We have a 1 acre parcel that has 3 RV Sites on it. Sites #1 and #2 have full hookups with 50 amp and 30 amp power connections. Site #3 Only has power and water. A dump station is available on the property. The property has lots of big Lodge Pole pine trees and is very flat. You can walk to the big deschutes river. Lots of wildlife deer, elk, gray squirrels, birds,........

Tranquility Base RV Campsite #3 sits on 1 acre of forested land. We have paved streets all the way up to the property. The site it-self, occupies about 1/4 acre and can be accessed from the south driveway or the north driveway. To the north of the property is a little mini forest and to the rear of the property is a large forest used by the local dear and elk for grassing and migration. Power and Water is available on the site no sewer hook up. Activities in the area include Floating the Deschutes river, Fishing, golfing, biking and snow skiing. Bend is only 20 minuets away and MT Bachelor is 25 minutes away. No tent camping is allowed unless you are part of a group staying in an RV. No Restroom facilities are available on the property. Campfires are allowed but you must call the LAPINE fire district at 541-536-2935 option #6 for the latest info regarding residential camp fires.

This is a large RV campsite and is big enough for almost any size RV class A-Z. This RV camp site sets back from the very low traffic paved street. Its very quite and feels very close to nature. The property backs up to a common wooded area that supports a elk heard of up to 80 Elk. We are about a 1/4 mile walking or riding distance from the big deschutes river. We are 5 min from Sun River Resort. We are 20 min from Bend. We are 25 min from MT Bachelor and the mountain lakes.

We have 3 RV sites. Site #2 offers power, water and sewer hook ups. The sites are spread out pretty far apart on a 1 acre parcel of land 3 miles south of Sunriver Oregon. We have 13 miles of paved roads for biking or walking. Other activities in the area include kayaking on the river golfing several golf courses nearby and of course, the sun River resort and the shark water facility and the Sunriver Village. Plenty of restaurants and shops. 25 minutes from Mount bachelor and 20 minutes from bend about 15 minutes from Lapine.

Nice, comfortable site. We had some difficulty backing in, but it wasn’t impossible by any means. The other sites are close by, so not 100% privacy but thankfully our neighbors were respectful. Lots of wildlife. Accommodated our 34ft trailer and our friend’s car tent. The property next door had individuals using a saw, but seemed to only be during daytime hours and we had no trouble sleeping at night.

We actually stayed in site 3 accidentally, site 2 was what we booked. Luckily site 3 wasn’t booked so we didn’t have to switch after being set up. It was well marked but I just got confused after talking with Russell. Our 25 ft TT barely fit with our slide out and awning but we did just fit. Lots of length just had to find space between trees for the awning and slide out. Loved the afternoon shade in site 3! It’s the best site there in my opinion. Russell was a great host- very helpful and communicative. We’d definitely stay there again if needed. The only downside was VERY loud music on the Saturday night. It was also loud on Friday but didn’t disrupt sleep. On Saturday it woke our toddler who couldn’t sleep for a while after that. It was over 10:15 ish. We think it maybe was from the nearby Thousand Trails but not sure. We saw a frog, a snake, lots of deer, playful squirrels and the herd of elk passing behind our site was amazing. Their noises are fascinating and fun! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We biked around a ton with our 3-year-old pedaling his own bike, on the nearby roads and national forest land along the Deschutes River. It felt very safe and drivers were patient and attentive. The campsite was exactly what was shown in the pictures. Very well designed with the utilities exactly where they should be. Very level. Super clean. If you told me we were the very first occupants I would believe it without reservation. The issue we had was use of the campfire ring which was the charming centerpiece of our campsite. The property owner was staying in the cabin structure next to our campsite and he made it known throughout our stay they he was very apprehensive about our campfires. With weather conditions being very hot we would have completely understood if the host had simply told that campfires were not allowed. That however did not happen. He actually brought us firewood to burn. We stayed for 3 nights and after we departed and to our surprise we recieved a terse text message with video attachments and a message from the host that we had endangered his property by not using a hose to douse the fire ring prior to departure. Without any instructions from the host we had simply used a shovel he provided to stir and bury any hot embers in the fire ring. We were never instructed to augment that by spraying water into the fire ring. We have been enjoying campfires at campsites all over the west for 40+ years and we have never been admonished on departure for failure to put water in a dedicated improved fire ring. It would seem to us that turning the fire pit into a muddy slurry of ash and soil would make that fire ring unusable for any subsequent guests.

This place is great for this end of Central Oregon and its proximity to everything. The hosts have set up a perfect site with all the accommodations. We didn't have to worry about anything because it was all there at the site- including a Welcome Book! Super private, quiet, and clean. The hosts were very attentive and friendly even though they were remote. A perfect, secret, shaded little campground without the crowds and grief of a state park.

We stayed on site 3 and it was lovely. Our trailer blocked the other sites and the forest is right next to and behind. It only had water in power (perfect for us bc there is a dump on site). Great place to camp!

Quiet and Spread out nicely

This was a great spot for some privacy & quiet. Its in a residential neighborhood but feels a lot like you are in the woods. We had our 30' motor home in site #3, glad I picked that spot as it was the most private since our hang out area faced the woods & our motor home blocked the view of everything else. It was a bit tight for our RV & slide outs but we just fit perfectly between the trees. #3 had power & water only, but the additional dump station was great to be able to empty tanks before leaving. Site #1 was probably the least appealing to me as it faced the building on the property so you're looking at the side of that the whole time...but #1 also had the largest parking space for your trailer and vehicles, as well as a large fire pit and table area. Site #2 is the center of the property & pretty open with a good amount of space to spread out. I tend to prefer as much privacy as possible so #3 was the best for that. I drew a map of the property to help, I wish every Hip Camp had this to help people get a feel for the layout when picking a camp space. The whole lot was well maintained & clean. There is a building/house & a tent set up, assuming that's for the owners but no one was there while we camped. Good central location to many things in area also. I would recommend this site, the owners were very responsive & nice when we spoke on the phone. Every site has room to spread out which was nice, my sister stayed in her tent and had lots of room. Great spot!
