5 acres out in county with fruit trees and some animals. We are 6 miles from the beach and the dunes. Coos Bay is the gateway to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, a 40-mile stretch of coastal sand dunes extending from Florence to Coos Bay. Our property is setup for RV campers only. You are welcome to bring your trailer with ATV, we just don't allow riding on our property. Sites are fairly level but they are on grass, so may require a bit of leveling.Site 1 sit on the north west corner of the field. This offers sun for a majority of the day and shade in the afternoons. There may be other campers visible from the site. There are no hook-ups at this site & no bathroom amenities. There is a firepit available and you will need to bring your own wood. We can offer wood upon arrival for a fee.

Great spot but tight roads!

The site was great once we got there! The only thing I will say is, if you have a big rig, (anything 20ft and over) I would take a route through town if possible. I would not recommend taking shinglehouse road while having a trailer on. The driveway itself is also very steep to get into the campsite. We were able to get out just fine having some help keeping the gates open! But may be trickier with a bigger rig. We camped in a 22ft travel trailer.

The Field is a great little gem on the Oregon Coast in Coos Bay. Close to the Sand Dunes for exploring. We went to Sunset Beach for a little morning tide pooling session but hear Horsfall Beach is nice too. We were pleasantly surprised to find some stellar mountain bike rides at the Whiskey Run Trails on Beaver Hill. There is something for everyone with 9 interconnected trails of varying degrees and difficulties. And closed out the night with food and beverage at the local 7 Devils Brewery. The Host, Zach, was very accommodating making this simple setup the perfect location to visit.

A lovely field!

Was exactly what was promised - a quiet spot in a field! It was freshly mowed and there were beautiful wildflowers blooming. In the morning, I was greeted with peacocks, geese, and crows. The driveway was a little steep, but Zach was super responsive to my phone call and walked me down, and my rig was able to handle it just fine.

We absolutely loved staying at Zack’s place! He and his wife Nicole are incredibly kind and warm-hearted. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. They helped us fill up our RV’s water tank, gave us great recommendations for places to visit, and even invited us to pick cherries from their tree, play with their children and animals, and enjoy their trampoline and pool. They went far beyond what you’d expect from RV hosts: it felt like visiting old friends. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, green, quiet, and peaceful. We highly recommend staying with Zack and Nicole!! you’re sure to have a heartwarming, memorable experience. 😊
