The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

A great location near Florence! We walked across the bridge to Old Town and really enjoyed the privacy, the view of the river, and the town of Florence! It was extra nice to have the chance to plug into power here: our solar panels do great, but the Oregon coast can be a bit cloudy! Many thanks for letting us use your great spot!

The space had a great view, was close to downtown Florence, and the hosts were friendly and responsive.
Only thing missing was a toilet facility and running water so be advised.

The site was clean and very private. A good launching pad for nearby activities. Great stargazing.The only drawback was the road above was a bit loud. Luckily I wear earplugs at night which did the trick.

This spot is easy to access right off 101 and close to restaurants and beaches. The site has a lovely view especially at night, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. There was some road noise but I sleep with ear plugs so it didn’t bother me.

Truly a gem of a campsite! Such incredible views! Went up there with the Pop-Up camper trailer, no issues getting up or down the hill. Be warned the gravel road is pretty steep, but very doable with a small camper. The farm fresh eggs were delicious as well! I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the area!

Unfortunately, for my 1st hip camp experience this was not a good experience. The biggest problem was their 2 large dogs charging at me and mine on a leash 3 times. I had to travel out of the area to assure my dogs safety while going restroom.
I tried contacting the host but no response.
Hopefully, the next experience will be different.

We enjoyed our stay! It looked like a perfect spot for an RV stop. We were tenting it and it was pretty nice for that too.
A great little spot. The hut and the table and chairs were icing on the cake. We were planning to tent camp but instead just set up in the little hut on site! It has nice carpet, windows and a door. And the 'porch' out front was a perfect spot to set up two chairs and watch the harbor lights of Florence when it was dark.
The owner was very quick to respond and helpful to make suggestions of good food in the area.
The view was awesome. You can see the water, the town, the bridge, and wooded areas around you.
It's easy to find and fairly private.
We had a really nice time!
These following things did not negatively impact our stay, weren't very important to us, but might be a factor for others...
You can hear loud vehicles on the 101.
There is, what appears to be, a new house that is somewhat looming over the site. It had bright lights that shine over the site and there was some activity at night. When we reached out to the owner, we were reassured that it's rare that they're loud.

Christina is an amazing host, she met us when we pulled in, even though we were a day late - we got behind on our trip so only stayed at this camp one night. There's plenty of room to park and turn a trailer around. The view of the river and the super cramped RV camp across the river was fun, and the lights at night are very pretty. There's even power to plug into if you need it. Overall, a great location close enough to dune trailheads that it's easy to access great places to walk. The road was a bit loud - the camp is level with a highway, and although there's a ravine in between, the highway is only 200 yards away, and it's a downhill stretch, so trucks can get loud. I would definitely stay here again, but not for an extended time - a night or two while traveling through.

It was a great place to park our rig within a few minutes of town. Due to the steep hill and the 101 bridge, it’s not the most walkable/bike able but easy to get anywhere by car.

We met with the host and purchased fresh eggs and wood then the host told us about all the berries on the land. My daughter and I woke up early to pick berries before we took off for our next adventure to the Redwoods. We totally loved this campground. It was one of my our favorites and we have traveled all around the country.

River View was awesome! It’s private and peaceful, plus having 30 amp electrical hookup was a bonus. The views are spectacular and it’s close to town. We rode our electric bikes to town and to the beach. The hosts were so nice and we got some fresh eggs. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location and the views. Although we were just above the house, we felt like we had our own place. I loved the little sun room as well and sat out there in the evenings to watch the water and sunset. You have direct access to the 101, the Port of Siuslaw, and Old Town Florence in less than 5 minutes, plus a very close drive to the dunes, the jetties, and tons of hiking trails along 101 and the national forest. It’s pretty perfect! Also, if you need water, trash disposal, or dump station, that is all available at the Port of Siuslaw which is just over the bridge. Dump was $5 and water was 25 cents for 5 minutes. The host was friendly and responsive. One of our best Hipcamp stays to date!

It should had been shared that the site is located beside a construction site and located with 50 yards of a major highway 101. The ower had ample opportunity to let us know this information. Very disappointed.

What a great find! Up on flat top hill with electric, and the bonus hut. You are way above the main home but with evergreens as a fence. Very private and very safe for this solo woman trekker.
1 min to the harbor/old town. Ofcourse theview of the Suislaw Bridge and Florence lights outstanding.
Christina was a great, attenive host but respected privacy.
I watched the fog and later a light rain storm roll in.
A slice of heaven... Up in heaven!
Note: if coming from veneta/eugene, and using the provided gps coordinates, do not turnleft to MAPLETON (15 miles west of Florence). Comimg out of a no service area on 126.. google thought.. oh.. closeto maple in Florence IS Mapleton. I took a 7 mile windy back roads oregon trek, thinking Christina's description was totally off the mark.
It was google being google.. we've all been there. The gps coordinates were suddenly perfect for google maps once I found my way back to 126. Lol.

We enjoyed the quiet, private space of Christina’s Hipcamp. She greeted us upon arrival to welcome us, then left us to enjoy the view of the river and downtown. It rained on and off throughout our stay, but the camp was well graveled so everything stayed nice and clean. Thank you for sharing your land with us. We'll be back!

Campground at the marina was full and thankful to find this gem!
Great spot for a camper van and with a pup. Stayed for two nights. A bit of a slope to get up (gravel driveway), but large and level area to camp— plenty of room to turn around and settle in with a view up above. Appreciated the electric access and little studio space (but didn’t use it in the nice weather I had).

We just stayed here for 10 nights and loved it. Yes, there is highway noise but it really quiets down at night and we both slept really well -and I am a light sleeper. We loved the occasional visits from Caramel and Chai and just wish they would have visited more. These dogs were so quiet and well behaved. Christina and family were delightful and welcoming and yet provided privacy and we hope to return. Thanks Christina!
