Hood National Forest, perfect for relaxing, stargazing, hiking, biking and immersing in the stunning views of Mt Hood. Guests can enjoy an acre or more to themselves, but please note there may be another camper visible within 500 ft. Guests will have access to portable toilets and potable water at the communal area. There are no hookups at this site. Mt. Hood, Central Oregon, Columbia Gorge Scenic Area, Dufur, Wasco County, South Central Washington, Hood River, and The Dalles, Oregon. Cycling, Adventure Biking for hundreds of miles.

Amazing Views!!!
Glamping Pod With Gorgeous Views
My wife and I only stayed one night in the “glamping pod with gorgeous views at Red Cloud Ranch” and the description and pictures are exactly as described on their Hipcamp listing. It was very cozy with a small heater and all the bedding you need. Shannon provided great directions and met us when we arrived, she was super nice and helpful. The drive to the property is pretty magical on a clear day with easterly views of Mt. Hood and cute black cows dotting the sides of their road. It wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting that there is 3-4 mile gravel and dirt road leading up to the property. Also, at the time of this review, there was no shower which we were aware of. If we were staying more than one night glamping, a shower would be a great addition. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay would definitely come back if we were in the area again!

I loved camping in this spot. The view of Mt. Hood was incredible. The location was private with only the sounds of birds, cows, and coyotes for miles. I would stay here again for sure!!

Tent Camping w/Stunning Mt. Views
Our favorite spot in our whole trip throughout Oregon. Very quiet and secluded, it took a bit to get to this Hipcamp which made it even more special. Every direction you look is breath taking. We watched the sunset and then slept under the stars with no bugs. We woke up to the sunset and only saw the one other guest and the host the whole time we stayed. There’s only one fire pit so if there’s another person you’ll just have to make friends :) highly recommend this spot!

A very beautiful area and great views/solitude. The hosts were very friendly and got us set up with a nice drum and supplies to make a fire since it is green and blooming there right now
