Fantastic location in a lovely town! Huge space and easy to park with lots of tree cover from the wind. Bring a portorable toilet!

Park & Chill was a nice spot to camp for the night, and a good backup for when the state park campgrounds are full. They do not have a toilet on the property, and I strongly suggest they put in a porta-potty for those of us who only have a tent and not an RV. I think for $25/night + tax, a toilet is the least that could be provided. Otherwise, a decent night's stay.

Very Peaceful - and a Hot Tub!

Spent a night at the Hot Tub & Trees site. What a great spot for a peaceful night. Easy to get to from 101. Quiet, lots of stars at night. Charlie & Heather were easy to communicate with and very responsive. And a hot tub! Crystal clear water, a perfect 105 degrees. Soaking in the tub under an Oregon evening sky, beautiful. I’d be very glad to stay there again. Thanks Charlie & Heather!

I booked for two nights for my camper van during the Labor Day weekend. The first night I was the only one there. The second night a party of three showed up. There was no host to help us with any of our issues. Myself, there was a black cat that kept jumping onto my front window area and terrorizing my cat that was inside. I texted the host to see if something could be done. I didn’t get a reply until I was leaving the following morning. The host had left the day prior and didn’t arrive until about 11 PM. Personally, I find this unacceptable to not be on site when you have guests.

What a sweet property. My hot tub session was interrupted by a huge thunderstorm moving through the state, but boy it was glorious until then. Propane fire pit, picnic table, clean portapotty were all nice additions. An inclusive gem in Port Orford.

We visited on a rainy August day! It was pretty awesome but kind of kept us in our camper while we were there.
Finding and parking our 20 foot travel trailer was pretty easy, there is a great huge grassy area between a garden and a forest. It made for a peaceful, relaxing and safe resting place. We will stay here again and hopefully next time we will have the experience of a tub as well.

Great experience! We loved the hot tub and the trees it was beautiful. Porta potty was nice and clean and is just a short walk away. They are very accommodating and helped us set the tub up. Highly recommend we will defiantly be back in the future.

We wanted a place to stay at the coast, but didn’t want to pay the crazy prices for hotels, or be in a crowded campground. Charlie and Heathers place was perfect because it was close to the beach and Port Orford, yet it was nice and grassy and a great price! The spot was pretty private from the house with a privacy lattice, the well shed, and the water holding tank between your area and theirs. They also kept to themselves and we rarely saw them, except for at the cars. The spot is nicely surrounded by a pretty dense forest where we could walk our dogs on a very short trail behind the house. The forest did a pretty good job keeping the wind down which was nice!! We did still get some gusts here and there. The outhouse was nice and clean and the solar shower bag was very nice. They had the hose and extension cord out for us. The hose is on their side of the property, but that wasn’t a big deal. We never used the hot tub, but they offered it. They have a sweet cat and a sweet older pug that came and said hi a couple times. There was also a wheel barrel to take stuff to and from the car which was very useful! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would most likely stay again next time we go to that part of the coast.
