Beautiful 360 acres of vacant forest land with creeks, springs, views, and trails, surrounded hard-to-access public land with old-growth forests. Old logging roads are everywhere, excellent for mountain biking and hiking or just a walk. Meadows feature flat spots for camping. The property has 990 feet of elevation drop from the top to creek and 1.2 miles of ridgetop. Not far from Highway 199 or town, just 10 minutes to a small store and Highway 199, and 20–25 minutes to Grants Pass and I-5. Take a dip in the creek, bike, hike, hunt for mushrooms, or simply relax in the peaceful atmosphere. A disc golf basket sits in the meadow Roads are bumpy, so no sports cars or overloaded vehicles; SUVs are fine. It’s a beautiful journey to get here, with one mile of gravel/dirt road leading from the pavement to the meadow. You may occasionally hear ATVs far up on the hill, but not often.

Ridge Top Retreat, ATV off road use

Tent site · Sleeps 4
The ridge extends for about a mile and a half with mild, rolling elevation changes — easy to get around but still full of character. A network of trails and old roads winds through the land, great for ATV riding, mountain biking, hiking, and exploring. It’s also an excellent spot for mushroom hunting or relaxing in nature. Wildlife is common here, including deer, elk, black bear, fox, fishers, ravens, crows, owls, woodpeckers, pheasants, bobcats and sometimes a cougar. No hunting An off-road capable vehicle is required to reach the top of property, 4x4 trucks, Jeeps, or ATVs are recommended. Once you’re here, you’ll have miles of open space to ride, hike, or simply unwind. Whether you’re here for the trails, the views, or the quiet, this ridge-top retreat offers a great way to enjoy the outdoors.

Creek with swim hole

RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 23 ft
This beautiful site is deep in the property and very quiet and mystical with sounds of water flowing. An old picnic table and a flat spots to park or tent. There are two creeks that come together and a small swim hole with crystal clear water you and your dog can take a dip and you may see a trout or crawfish in summer and fall, winter and spring water is more rapid. There is a raft, scuba mask and chair for you to use. Great place to do some meditation or book reading or writing. The road is bumpy to get here, any suv should be ok. Sport cars and overloaded cars not recommended.
