We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.The spot is on a medium sized gravel pad within view of the river. Please pick up after them so we can continue to welcome guests and their pets. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The spot is on a medium sized gravel pad within view of the river. Access is down a private driveway about 100’ long. The power and water hookups are next to each other on the southern edge of the site. There is good shade about half the day in the summer, more in the winter. We have some very large cedar and fir trees surrounded by many ferns. In the summer, lemon balm, water leaf and wild flowers blanket the forest floor. We have a cat who mostly stays inside when we have campers. We are allowing dogs and other pets at this time. Please pick up after them so we can continue to welcome guests and their pets. The description was accurate and the space was easy to use. Close to the river, bike trail, golfing, and the store if you need. It was a relaxing scene.

What a magical spot! Stayed in a car tent setup and it was perfect for me as a solo female camper, the hosts are so very kind and I appreciated having folks nearby but also felt totally private. The river is amazing to sleep to and there is a lovely grassy area to hang out / dip as well as a secret hammock nook :) As another note, my anxious dog was able to enjoy this campsite without triggers or distractions and I appreciate that so much! We will be back many times next summer and highly recommend, especially for solo campers or couples or if you have a dog who needs a bit of private space!

Marcus was a great host! He communicated well so we knew what to expect! Site had a great spot near the river with two chairs and a table for our use! Quiet and scenic camping spot!!

What a beautiful, magical little spot to spend some time. It's right by the river so you see rafters going by every once in a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of the river and forest. It was very relaxing. There's a cute restaurant about a mile away but it's a pleasant enough walk. Definitely recommended!

Great little secluded campsite. Even though it is next to house it feels like its own little sanctuary. Host were extremely friendly and accommodating. They even gave me a recommendation to attend the Paella Festival that was happening next door! What an experience

This little gem on the Mackenzie River in Central Oregon is a hidden gem! It’s tucked away and super quiet. Marcus was super responsive and really helpful with the booking process. If I ever find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely book again!

Loved the site position near the river. the sounds and native landscape! Although the site was somewhat close to the house, It felt very private.

Absolutely beautiful site. I would come back in a heartbeat. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of places to sit and relax by the river. Hosts were very helpful!
