The tent camping site parking was very narrow, making it difficult to retrieve gear from our vehicle. Trimming the vegetation back on either side of the entry would make a big difference. The site was sloped and fairly cramped. The bathroom and common room were dirty and disheveled, not welcoming. When we tried to use the bathroom in the morning it was occupied and smelly, even though there were no other campers.

We loved it here. So chill! Right off 101, which was great for getting up early and hitting the road. The crashing waves were a great way to end and start the day.

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was outstanding. We were in site N-3. We have a 17’ campervan and it fit perfectly, although it is a pretty small site. As some people reported, there is a bit of poison oak at some of the edges of the campsite, but not a lot. We were able to easily avoid it and keep our dog away from it. There is some traffic noise from 101, but honestly, we hardly even noticed as the beautiful sound of the ocean is all we heard. The path to the beach is quite steep in some parts, so if you’re older like me, you may want to bring a hiking pole for extra stability on the steep parts. It was worth it though, as the beach was fantastic. It was almost like a private beach. I only saw two other people there. The only thing we weren’t thrilled about was the bathroom/shower in the basement of the owner’s home. It was not as clean as I would have preferred. Not a deal breaker for me, but it could have been better.

This camp spot is absolute magic. The unfettered access to a beautiful deserted beach, the friendly gracious host and the continuous crashing of the pacific elevate Richard’s land to my favorite Hip camp. The sites have level spots for tents, plenty of room for a car or truck and all have a view of the ocean. My family had an absolute blast and we will be coming back. My dog had a great time as well. Thank you Richard, Steve and John and Dingo. You guys are awesome.

Loved the location and views. Lots of help to get parked… and all were super friendly. The trail to the beach is challenging, but very worthwhile, especially since I had the beach to myself!

we loved kissing rock farms!! Richard was so kind and so communicative! he even stoped by our site to see if we needed anything & help with directions. He was quick to respond to any message sent & also provides restrooms in his own home! (separate basement/ comfort area to hang) we didn’t go down to it at all but when we did drive up, everything looked clean and well put together! The site was so lovely as well, beach views & had a fire pit. the one thing i would let others know of is, in site n-2, it is likely you will hear a bit of highway traffic ( after about midnight) it slows down a bit and you don’t hear much. it wasn’t a problem for us at all. also, the site was on the smaller side, but it was just for me & my partner so we didn’t mind at all!

My husband and I stayed at N1 for our 14 year anniversary and were in awe of the constant view and music of the ocean. Our dogs were able to explore off leash a majority of the time without running into others and we all got a decent workout climbing the trail down to the beach and walking along it for hours. The perfect get away! Minutes from the town to the north which had great places for food and grocery stores. About 10 minutes from Myers Creek Beach to the south which has some of the most stunning views and rocks to explore. Having a bathroom with a shower kept us feeling fresh the whole time and the host Steve was super kind.

Honestly one of the best experiences I had in Oregon. My two round daughters and wife enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful view! Nice warm running water. Comfortable in the comfort room! These folks are one of the coolest people I’ve met. Richard and Stevo have done very well with making this place very welcoming. Thank you for hosting us! We will be back!

Owner said my RV {22' class c) would fit but the only place we could put it is right next to house which is not an advertised spot. Owner smokes tobacco right there and grows weed, both of which smell AWFUL. "Guest area" dismal and dirty - bathroom is in house which was not a comfortable feeling plus not clean and smells bad plus very far from sites. Actual RV spots are just wider spots in owners driveway and will fit maybe a van but no place for a chair or grill or anything else plus right on HWY 101 and unsuitable for dogs or kids. Tent spot sloped and very tight. No effective effort to rid property of poison oak. Trail to beach is long, steep and dangerous. We could not stay there. Extremely disappointing and now owner will not answer me about a refund. All around NO!

We found this site at the last minute before getting dark. We had a view of the ocean, privacy and took Richards trail to the beach and absolutely no one was there. The tent pad just barely accommodated our tent, but we made it work. All in all a great find and definitely would return.

This Hipcamp met our needs and expectations. It is easy to get to and the directions are straightforward, The hike to the beach (especially after driving), flushing toilet and warm shower were a bonus.
We stayed one afternoon/night during a road trip in N3. There is space for a tent, which we did not pitch. Instead we slept in the back of our Subaru with the back open and enjoyed the view like no other.
There is no picnic table or surface to prepare a meal.
Our ice chest worked fine for our needs.
Richard is lovely/laid back and stopped briefly to let us know he was available if needed.
The trail to the beach is steep and uneven. I rate it hard to difficult.
We will stay again if we are in the area.

We stayed in N-1. What a fantastic site overlooking the ocean and close to the bathroom. Richard and Steve were awesome hosts who have put together a wonderful Hipcamp. Our 7x7 tent fit perfectly at the site.
Close to town. Oh yeah, each night the sounds of the waves crashing on shore lulled us to great nights of sleep. Well worth it.
Kudos Richard and Steve. Hopefully we'll be back your way.

Excellent campground with outstanding hospitality! The host is welcoming and they even delivered the firewood and water bottles directly to our site. The ocean sounds provide beautiful background noise that also helps mask any traffic. With minimal light pollution, stargazing is beautiful on clear nights. Sites are well-spaced and private, and we had zero issues with ticks or mosquitoes. Easy to locate following the GPS coordinates and signage provided.
A few minor notes: from site #2, it's a short walk to toilets/showers (bring a flashlight for nighttime trips), and the beach view is somewhat blocked by vegetation at ground level, though much better from a rooftop tent.
Overall fantastic value for money - highly recommended!

This is quite the magical place…
My partner and I stayed in N2 and it had a nice fire pit and spacious area for our tent.
There is a great view of the ocean from the campsite and the beach is a short walk downhill. It’s also nice to have access to a bathroom and shower.
Both hosts are super kind and rad, we truly appreciated their hospitality.
Can’t wait to come back!

This has shot to the top of our favorite campsites! This was our first HipCamp experience too! We had the most amazing views and our site (N-1) was a great size and was able to accommodate our 6 person tent. We had plenty of space and privacy, and Richard was the most amazing and hospitable host! It was an added luxury to be able to use the hot shower and bathroom in the lower level of his house. The private trail down to the beach was awesome and being able to have our dog off leash was great. Over 3 days we saw only about 3 other people walk past this part of the beach, we spent hours wandering the shore and relaxing in the sunshine with our dog, looking at all of the interesting rocks and shells. We cant wait to return again!.

Loved this campsite! Got to camp in time to watch the sunset over the beach. Beach access by the house – slightly steep, but worth it. Also includes a full bathroom in the downstairs level of the home. The views from the site and the beach access make this a top tier stay!
