Welcome to your own private creekside retreat. Months of Operation: May thru September. Weekends are closed on the calendar, however we are willing to open those days if you would like to stay over on those days. Just send a request when you reserve on the week days and then you can reserve those extra days as well. This is because we do not want to deal with Friday evening or Saturday check-ins/outs. This secluded dry campsite sits directly along a peaceful, year-round large creek, surrounded by mature trees and forest canopy. The site is quiet, shaded, and thoughtfully laid out for privacy and comfort, with creek access right at the campsite. The camp features a large flat tent/van pad, a fire pit, large picnic table, large BBQ, clean private porta potty, and creek view seating. Fall asleep to the sound of flowing water and wake up to birdsong and filtered morning light through the trees. This is a primitive site—no hookups—but you’ll have everything you need to unplug and truly relax. Perfect for tent campers, small trailers, camper vans, anglers, writers, and anyone seeking peace and nature. Site highlights: • Private Creekfront access • Private, wooded setting • Fire pit (seasonal restrictions apply) • Large picnic table under a 10x10 canopy • Clean Porta Potty with hand washing station next door Wildlife sightings are common, and the creek is ideal for relaxing, canoeing, kyaking, swimming, or fishing. If you’re looking for a calm, beautiful place to unplug, this spot delivers.Large area for multiple tents. Camp vans, overhead campers, and smaller RV's might fit down by the water, but if not there is room above the tent site closer to the road for larger RV's. There is a beautiful large creek to sit beside, fish, swim, canoe (available for guest use), or kayak (bring your own). Guests take full responsibility for using the creek. Full supervision of children is required, and this is not toddler friendly around the water. We see a large variety of wildlife and birds on our property, including bald eagles. Enjoy picking ripe blackberries in season and watching Salmon spawn in the creek in the fall. You will have the use of a large gas BBQ grill, canoe, chairs, picnic tables, and fire pit (campfires are not allowed during fire season). Clean Porta Potty at the site. There is a railroad on the other side of the creek that has a train travel by late at night and early morning during the week. It can be a lovely noisy rumble with an occassionaly squeel from the wheels as it passes by. This site is beside a BLM paved road that has occassional traffic, not a lot, but will have some each day. The creek site is mostly not visible to the road. We are located about 20 minutes from a major freeway, about 45 minute drive from a larger town with hospital and larger grocery stores. There are numerous smaller towns about 20 to 30 minutes away. Emergency Wifi use available at our house if needed.
