This place was awesome! Mark was super cool. We stayed in spot 1 and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space between spots. The fire pits/picnic tables at each site was nice and portipotties were close by. Auggie was a sweetheart of a host as well;)

We stayed a night at Mark’s campsite and it was a great experience and will do that again if we plan for another Oregon coast trip. There is city water available with benches and fire pits. But above of all, Auggie, Mark’s dog made our stay a wonderful memory. We arrived at night and we heard some noises then we searched for the noise with our flashlight and saw two eyes looking at us. We couldn’t say what animal was that until it started approaching us and we ran into the car lol then he came closer and we saw him and gave him some food. He was a very friendly dog.

Such a handy spot to stay at along the coast. Quick access to Oceanside, Cape Meares, Rockaway, Cape Lookout, and more.
I love the orchard site. Full grassy spot with east sky views, west tree cover for late afternoon shade. Picnic table and fire pit. Though it's close to the road the hill and surrounding trees makes it very quiet. Convenient, clean portapotties available close by.
Let's not forget the Angel welcoming you of the SWEETEST black lab- utter charmer.

Orchard Overlook Site #1
We picked the lone rainy weekend in June to camp! But our first night here was great. Each campground seems to have a lot of space (if not a ton of privacy from adjacent sites), and the land is a very easy drive to both Tillamook for supplies and Netarts/Oceanside for beach. Wish it hadn't been raining so hard, since there was lots of nice terrain for laying out with a book, trails to explore, dog to meet… maybe next time!

Secluded and Serene #3
We recently stayed at this campsite and overall it’s in a really beautiful spot, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The owner was super kind and told us to message if we needed anything, which we really appreciated.
That said, I’m not sure I’d recommend Site 3 if rain is in the forecast. While the sites next to us looked great with nice grassy areas, ours turned into a muddy mess. Unfortunately, our Outback got stuck and we ended up cutting our stay short.
If you’re booking here, I’d definitely recommend one of the other spots over Site 3, especially in wet weather. But all in all, it’s a lovely location and the host was very helpful.

My partner and I had a blast camping at Hurleys Hideaway! The campsite and porta potties were clean and well-maintained. There are a variety of campsites to choose from, all with different benefits. We stayed at the “Private and Cozy #5” site and it definitely lived up to its name. There was a picnic table at the site as well as a fire pit with a grill cover for cooking over the fire. The host has a dog named Oggy who stops by all the camp sites to hang out - he is such a good dog and very sweet! The host was very friendly and communicative. We highly recommend this spot!

Mark was an excellent host and even offered firewood cheaper than other places in the area. The site was large and beautiful. Mark was extremely accommodating for me and my friends will definitely visit again!

We stayed at campsite #5 for two nights. It's a small campsite with room for just one tent. It is surrounded by vegetation so you can't see the other campers, but you can hear them. There was a large group camping across the road who were a bit loud but it wasn't too bad. It's still more private and quiet than most campgrounds. We really enjoyed hearing the birds singing and getting to hang out with the camp dog. The host was also very friendly and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed.

Highly recommend and will come again when in area. “Park like country” setting that we had to ourselves very close to Tillamook. Comes with fire pit, porta-potty, potable water and a wonderful doggie who greeted and hung out with us a bit. We really enjoyed our stay there and Mark, the host, was very responsive via text. Our activities included visits to the Tillamook cheese making facility, Cape Meares lighthouse and hiking the Cape Lookout coastal trail - recommend all three.

Great location! I stayed for one night in site 6 with one other person and my dog. The site was a few feet back from the road— Easy to get to and felt private with trees between our site and the driveway. Potable water and port a potties were easy to get to. Beautiful views from both the west and east side of the property. The camp dog, Auggie, kept us company and showed us around the property (so sweet!) Mark was also incredibly helpful. He was communicative about the site and stopped by to meet us and give advice about where to visit in the area. Overall, great stay!

Mark’s HipCamp is great, and only a few minutes to Netarts Bay. Site #5 had enough flat area for my 4-man tent. It’s mostly shady but a little sun does come through. I enjoyed my campfires in the fire pit, which also has a grate to cook on if you like. The two port-o-potties and huge water tank (potable city water) are close by, but not too close. Marks’s giant black marshmallow of a dog came to say hi right away, and liked to pop back from time to time to keep me company. Mark is super nice and came by to offer me a load of firewood ($5) that was plenty for two nights. The weather was too windy for my kayaking trip, so I’ll likely be back another time!

Me and my two friends were looking for somewhere to stay near the beach. And we are all so glad we booked a night on Mark's land! There were lots of mosquitos but just make sure you have long sleeves, bug spray, and wood for the fire pit! There was potable water and bathrooms nearby which made it comfortable. My favorite part was waking up in the morning and sitting on the bench in front of an exquisite view of the Tillamook river. Unfortunately we got in late and left early so we didn't get a chance to meet Mark, but he was super kind and a quick to respond. Thank you for this opportunity, we hope to be back soon!:)

I was the first one to stay in the newly cleared site. I came here once before and stayed in the neighboring site. I love the proximity to Netarts and Tillamook Bay, great spot to stay at if you're climbing and crabbing.

Camp #7 was surrounded by beautiful ferns and shady, tall trees, slightly more secluded than some of the other spots. Located across a road from the Tillamook River, the scenery was gorgeous and there was minimal street noise. Mark was a hospitable and helpful host, greeting us when we arrived and giving us info on where to get firewood in town (bring cash). The property is about 15 minutes away from Tillamook Creamery and the Meares Lighthouse, making it ideal for checking out the area. The walk to the portopotty was a little long and uphill but not terrible. I would highly recommend this campsite!

Private site on a good bit of land. Caution that site 5’s driveway can get muddy in the rain. The host was nice enough to let us use site 1’s pop up shelter to hang out and cook at while it was raining.

We found this perfect spot last minute and the host was so gracious , the pup Augie was a sweet heart, we had 3 dogs and they got to roam the campsite and be dogs, we loved the quite little spot and will most definitely book again thanks - Krissie

Mark is a great host! Though we were unable to make it to the site because of some car issues; we still had a great experience. Mark gave us a call and was extremely kind and generous. He obviously cares a lot about his site and his campers!

Staying on Mark’s land was great! We originally booked lot 5 but he let us make our pick since we were the only campers. His dog hung out with us the whole time which was a treat and lot 3 has a beautiful view of the river.

I had a great experience camping at Mark’s land. Beautiful and convenient location for sightseeing, and close to town. Nice and private. Mark is a great host. He is very thoughtful and accommodating. Auggie is the sweetest camp dog ever. I loved my stay, and i look forward to returning!

My teenage son and I had such a pleasant day and night at camp! Shady site #7 was a cute secluded forest spot with a picnic table and a fire pit with enough room for our rooftop tent (or a couple ground tents).
We were just a short walk from the water and bathrooms up the road and there are several wonderful camp spots to choose from.
Mark was a WONDERFUL host and was so helpful, kind and accommodating with lots of information about Tillamook and surrounding Oregon. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll get a visit from Oggy, the SWEETEST black lab, and Jinx the cat!
We will 100% be back, thanks so much for a great stay Mark!

Mark was very responsive, helpful and kind! The area just had a big rain and he was really on top of making sure my experience was still great with the mud. The property is stunning and he has carved out the spaces to have privacy. He also gave me great tips on things to do in the area. As a girl traveling alone, I felt very safe staying on this property and was grateful for the peace of mind.
