Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

No need to bring a canopy for this site, the trees provide you with their own. Plenty of room here, so find a spot to your liking and pitch a tent or two. Park between the trees on the same side of the road. Do Not block the driveway ! ! ! And also my Camp dog Oggy wants to open up a lost and found Department so if you wind up with something missing reach out to me and I'll give you a good idea where it's at.:-) I just added a new Porta-Potty in between site six and seven which will make it more convenient for six and seven. 6/12/25

This site is about 30 yds past a little pond and through the trees looking over what you just walked through to get to the camp site, private and peaceful. Park and walk to camp site. I have added another tent spot for this site today so there's actually room for probably two or three if they're not huge tents. Beware my Camp dog Auggie wants to open up a lost and found Department so if you wind up with something missing reach out to me I'll give you a good idea where it's at.🤭 I just added a new Porta-Potty close to 6 and 7 which will make it more convenient.

To help with directions, I am 2 miles west of the hospital and look for a purple Minnesota Vikings bus Shack on the right-hand side of the road with the eggs for sale sign. go up the cement driveway, which turns to gravel . There is a Porta potty on site as well as half barrels for camp fires. You can gather dead wood from the forest. Don't cut any live trees or brush. No chainsaws. If you have children, I have a swing up the driveway below my house that they are welcome to use. I'm just getting started with this Hipcamp thing,so if you have any suggestions, feel free 😉. And also, if you have kids? bring them all. Also I might add my Camp dog Auggie has been known to pack people's belongings up to my house I think he wants to start a lost and found Department so if you're missing something to reach out to me and I'll give you a good idea where it's at.:-)

This campsite is cherished for its serene and secluded setting, nestled among nature yet conveniently close to Tillamook and the coast. Mark, the host, and his friendly dog Auggie make guests feel welcome and attended to. While most campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and amenities like firewood and potable water, there have been occasional challenges with the campsite pet's over-enthusiasm. Overall, the grounds are well-maintained, and the proximity to nearby attractions adds to the campsite's appeal.
