Based off my communication with Ethan alone, I *highly* recommend this spot. Sadly, we were unable to honor our reservation, and when I let Ethan know, he was incredibly kind, responsive, and refunded our trip -- something I wasn't expecting at all. I don't write this review to encourage missed reservations or reinforce bad camper behavior. I do, however, want to recognize Ethan for his superb service, as it's something I don't always encounter on this app. He's a keeper. And we'll 100% get there one day. Thank you, Ethan!

Ethan is very helpful, easy to communicate with and a nice host to deal with. I recommend this place if you're looking for a safe dry camping spot.

Beautiful location, host was responsive and very friendly. The river is beautiful and the perfect spot for a dip, our dogs loved it as well! Plenty of space to run around and the highway next to the property isn’t as loud as you’d think. Very quiet at night and the stars are beautiful. Overall awesome site. Thanks Ethan!

Great set up, nice picnic table, quiet location, the trees offer a lot of shade when the sun is out. My dogs had a good time running around and checking out all the smells. I will stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

This property was excellent. It was so wonderful to have some seclusion in the wilderness and not feel like you are camping in a parking lot right up on your neighbors. What a beautiful location. Ethan was very quick to communicate. I highly recommend this spot.

The girls (goldendoodles-Georgie and Mazel) are terrified of fireworks! We had planned to be in Eastern Oregon at a friend's home away from our neighbors who celebrate the 4th vigorously. Those plans feel through for a variety of reasons, so we thought we would try hip camp for a nearby location away from said neighbors.
Coyote was open and seemed to fit the bill.
The pictures they have posted do not do it justice. It is a superb little getaway just down the road from home. A stand of Oregon White Oak provided copious amounts of shade in the middle of a Hayfield alongside Coyote Creek. In the center of the stand was a huge fire pit, a nice picnic table, a couple of benches, and lots of area to spread out under the shade.
Unfortunately it is fire season and we didn't get to use the fire pit. However we did bring our propane fire pit which works for a little ambience.
While 50+ year old me would never swim in that water it would have been a hard time keeping 10 year old me out! The girls are also finicky about water, but if our late yellow lab, Toby, had been with us he would have wore it out too. So maybe a great swimming hole! Maybe?
In addition we had the whole space to ourselves. No other campers to contend with. No having to keep it down late at night. In fact my buddy and I set up a projection screen and watched movies into the wee hours of the morning outside at full volume! Laughing our butts off!
We will definitely visit again soon!!

The site was exactly as advertised. We parked our 24 ft motor home in the grove of oak trees near the creek. It’s located far enough away from the road to ensure a peaceful camping experience. We were serenaded by coyotes at night (not for too long) and woke to sunlight on the meadow that reminded us of a scene from “Out of Africa.”
Ethan was a wonderfully communicative host. We absolutely plan to return to Coyote Camp!

Beautiful, private campsite surrounded by trees. The creek is very close, if you want to throw your line in. You are far enough off the road, you really don't hear the traffic. Plus, its not even a busy road. Very relaxing area.

This was a perfect spot close to family to visit for Mother's Day. The camas was blooming and beautiful. Site was easy to find, scenic and quiet. You can hear cars going by, but they're far away enough not to be bothersome and are virtually nonexistent during the night. Responsive host. We hope to be back later in the year! We have found three ticks so far, courtesy of our pooch (luckily not embedded), so be aware they're in the area.

Very open land, and the little grove of trees is perfect to set up your tent. You definitely hear the coyotes, and please do not worry if acorns happen to rain down upon on - it was a very fun addition to the experience. All in all, it was a great piece of property!

Wasn’t sure what to think about this site with no reviews so glad we booked it! It is a great location. Close to Eugene, Wineries, and an hour or so from the coast. Hosts provided instructions were easy to follow. There was even a picnic table. I thought it may be a bit buggy in the evening being so close to the creek, but we didn’t have any issues with that. Also got to see a herd of Elk.
It was so nice to find a single site. We could let our dogs be dogs and the baby be a baby. Will definitely stay again!
